Neither of these two teams have been particularly convincing at the tournament so far with both teams struggling for consistency. Uruguay vs Portugal Prediction

Uruguay are one of small clutch of sides who went through the group stage with maximum points but they also managed to keep clean sheets in each of their three matches. They weren’t drawn in the toughest section but they have impressed and will be expected to progress to the quarter-finals. They have been effective at the back with Jose Gimenez and Diego Godin looking extremely composed and they may be able to keep another clean sheet in this one. Cristiano Ronaldo netted four of their five goals and their over-reliance on the Real Madrid man is a bit of a concern. Portugal barely created anything against Morocco and many of their players look short on confidence.
