World Cup 2018 Football Predictions Group F – Germany

Germany were simply a joy to behold last time out at the 2014 World Cup. After humiliating the mighty Brazil on their own turf, Joachim Löw’s team successfully claimed all the spoils with a hard-fought victory against Argentina in the final.

Whilst fortunes could well play out rather differently once the 2018 World Cup finally comes around this summer, big things are nonetheless expected of the current world champions as they look to claim a second successive World Cup trophy in Russia.

Will Germany win the 2018 World Cup?

Despite the mounting competition ahead of them this summer, Germany will once again be entering the upcoming international showdown as one of the well-defined favourites to go all the way.

Although it’s easy to write the Germans off ahead each major tournament, Joachim Löw’s squad seemingly always have something up their sleeve in preparation for the undoubted trials that lie ahead. Either way, Germany remain a force to be reckoned with.

Who will be Germany’s star man at the World Cup?

Selecting Germany’s perceived star performer ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia remains a troublesome task unto itself. Whilst this team have numerous stars to count upon with the usual domestic season rapidly drawing to a close, there is one man down at the Etihad who has simply been on fire this campaign.

Leroy Sane is only 22-years-old in this early part of his career. Yet under the hard-nosed tutorage of Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, the up and coming German winger is seemingly moving from strength to strength among the English top-flight.

Whilst there is arguably still more to come from the in-form wide-man, Sane has electrified fans of the Premier League with his impressive pace and talented dribbling skill, upstaging the likes of Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Raheem Sterling on more than just the odd occasion.

Sane possesses intelligent vision all across the park and certainly knows how to find the back of the net with some style. All of which provide positive signs for Germany among the upcoming 2018 World Cup in Russia.

What are Germany’s Group F fixtures?

Mexico – Germany’s opening Group F fixture begins in rather fiery fashion. Mexico will prove a tough nut to crack for many teams operating in Russia this summer, yet even with this in mind, Germany are more than capable of brushing the Central Americans aside in relatively straightforward fashion.

Sweden – Once again, a somewhat subtle test awaits the Germans in the second of their opening group-stage encounters. Although Sweden possess a newfound lease of life among their highly praised first-team ranks, once again, Germany are still likely to come out on top with little to hold them back.

South Korea – Germany’s third and final Group F encounter could arguably prove the easiest of the entire bunch. South Korea have many defining positives to look forward to this summer, but their upcoming face-off against the current world champions probably won’t be one of them.

Germany’s World Cup Tips and Predictions

Joachim Löw’s team are clearly one of the well-versed favourites likely to impress at the 2018 World Cup. Although they could theoretically come unstuck without a recognised centre-forward filling the boots of Miroslav Klose up top, few are seemingly opting against the Germans this summer.

World Cup betting tips expect Germany to make it all the way to the final. Even with the likes of Brazil, Spain and Argentina all vying to steal their crown in Russia, it would seemingly take a rather brave decision not to back Germany at the upcoming international competition.
