Both Teams to Score and Win Tips

Australia vs Peru – Australia to win and BTTS

Peru were many peoples underdog selections prior to this tournament, but two defeats to the hands of France and Denmark mean they have already been eliminated. This game is a dead rubber for them, which may mean we finally see them play some more expansive football than they have been doing. They do have the firepower but have yet to score this tournament. Their main aim now is to surely just grab at least one goal in the World Cup and we can see them doing that against the Aussies. The Socceroos have to win this match to give themselves any chance of securing a passage through to the next round. They were unfortunate in their opening game when they lost to France and maybe again when they drew 1-1 with Denmark in the last match. Peru are weaker then both the Danes and the French, so if the Australians are scoring against those, we expect them to do the same here. They may even need to win by a certain margin to edge the Danes out of qualifying, so an entertaining game could be on the cards.

Argentina vs Nigeria – Argentina to Win and BTTS

Many people said that this group would be the group of death and its worked out exactly like that. Croatia have qualified and will more than likely top the group, after two extremely impressive displays so far. They embarrassed Argentina in the last game, when they took them apart in a 3-0 victory. That has left the Argies needing to win this game to stand any chance of qualifying. They only have this chance because of Nigeria’s win against Iceland, which has put them second in the group. A draw may be enough for the Super Eagles to progress through to the knock out stages, but it just feels like the stage is set for Lionel Messi to finally produce the goods. He has been non existent so far, but who would put it past the little genius to prove to be the match winner and maybe get his side through to the next round.
