“National Hunt” Auction Maiden Hurdle – 12:25

The Plimsoll Line produced an encouraging run on his reappearance after eight months off the track. He finished a close third at Chepstow that day under the ride of Rex Dingle, but that 2m trip might have been a bit sharp for him. He can be a major threat over this extended 2m3f, with Dingle in the saddle again.

Selection: The Plimsoll Line (15/8 with William Hill)

“Hands And Heels” Handicap Hurdle – 12:55

In this 3m1f hurdle for amateur and conditional jockeys, a chance is taken on the Nigel Twiston-Davies trained, Bomber’s Moon. His latest run earlier in October was encouraging, finishing fifth of eleven over this same trip at Huntingdon. However, that was in Class 4 company, so the drop back to Class 5 level makes him a solid each-way shout. Finn Lambert takes the ride.

Selection: Bomber’s Moon (5/1 with William Hill)

Novices’ Hurdle – 1:25

This could be the battle of the jacks with Believe Jack likely to go off as favourite. However, the selection is Great Heart’Jac who came so close to winning a National Hunt Flat race at Chepstow in October. He was only beaten by a neck that day by the unbeaten Timeforatune, so the switch to hurdles looks interesting. He is out of the in-form Fergal O’Brien yard, with Paddy Brennan in the saddle.

Selection: Great Heart’Jac (13/8 with William Hill)

Novices’ Hurdle – 1:55

After a win in a point-to-point contest in Ireland in December was followed with another win in a National Hunt Flat race at Doncaster in March, Imperial Hope was tried over hurdles at Southwell in May. He finished second that day and has been off the track for 175 days since. He seemingly runs well fresh and could land this 2m contest for trainer, Oliver Sherwood. Brendan Powell takes the ride again.

Selection: Imperial Hope (11/4 with William Hill)

Novices’ Handicap Chase – 2.25

A chance is taken on Kilpin from the Nigel Twiston-Davies yard. He returned to action at Chepstow in early October after a nine-month break and produced a decent run to finish fourth of 13 that day. He will surely come on for that run and has Sam Twiston-Davies back in the saddle. Although the hat-trick seeking Do It For Thy Sen is likely to go off as favourite, the selection could be the main danger and looks a solid each-way bet at the price.

Selection: Kilpin (9/2 with William Hill)

Handicap Chase – 2.55

Uncle O took well to fences during the summer, winning at Market Rasen in July over 2m1f. He could prove difficult to pass off the back of a decent run over hurdles 2 weeks ago when third of seven at Plumpton. He drops 1lb for that and could produce another good run for the Clare Hobson yard.

Selection: Uncle O (SP with William Hill)

Mares’ Handicap Hurdle – 3.25

Peltwell is unbeaten in her last five runs, which has seen her win at Wincanton, Wetherby, Newcastle, Hexham, and Huntingdon. That latest win came off the back of a seven-month break and there seems to be no stopping her. She continues to go up in the weights, and is up another 5lb for her latest win, but she did that comfortably and can make it a sixth successive win here.

Selection: Peltwell (5/2 with William Hill)
