Royal Ascot 2023 Outsider Tips – One Each-way Tip for Each of the 5 Days

Royal Ascot Free Bets

Royal Ascot 2023 is here and we have looked through all the races to pick out one each-way tip per day, starting on Tuesday 20th June and running through to the day 5 card on Saturday 24th June.

There will be some massive fields int he handicap races at Royal Ascot 2023 and they lend themselves perfectly to betting on the outsiders because some bookies will give you enhanced places for these races, meaning we could see bookies paying out on the first six or even seven home in the big fields.

Below you will find out Royal Ascot outsider tip from each of the 5 days of racing and the latest odds for the bet.

Day 1 Outsider Tip – Queen Anne Stakes

For the first selection we go to the very first race of Royal Ascot 2023 and refer back to Kevin Blake’s Ascot tips, where he said the following about Mutasaabeq:

“The market has opened up a bit in recent days, but 20/1 (now 16/1) looks seriously appetising about Mutasaabeq. He certainly has a chance of hitting the frame and at 16/1 that would have you in business. I certainly wouldn’t rule him out of winning either.”

It is a competitive race for sure and he does need a career best to win this after getting beaten by Modern Games and Chindit but he took advantage of an easy lead when beating Native Trail earlier this season.

Day 2 Outsider Tip – Royal Hunt Cup

The Royal Hunt Cup is one of the biggest puzzles of the week and bookies are sure to offer extra places on this cavalry charge. Four-year-olds have won the last four runnings of this race and with a lightweight, outsider Dawn of Liberation can go well at a big price.

He stayed on well at Chester when clearly unsuited to the tight track so a straight mile should suit much better and if he can show that turn of speed again here, he can run into a place for our lucky 15.

Day 3 Outsider Tip – Ribblesdale Stakes

Joseph O’Brien-trained Lumiere Rock looks set to go for this race and despite Al Asifah being supplemented for the race, that isn’t enough to put Kevin Blake off.

The daughter of Saxon Warrior has progressed with each of her six starts to date, winning a Group 3 at the Curragh last October and producing another improved effort when a close second to stable mate Caroline Street in the Blue Wind Stakes at Naas in May.

On that occasion, she gave the impression that, as she often has in her career, that she will be even better with an even greater emphasis on stamina. Thus, the step up to this one-and-a-half mile trip very much promises to suit.

She is a straightforward ride that likes to be positively ridden which is always a plus around the round track at Ascot and the likely sounder surface shouldn’t inconvenience her.

Lumiere Rock may well be trading at a big price, but she could be outrun those odds by putting up a bold show.

Day 4 Outsider Tip – Coronation Stakes

Amo Racing are really making waves on the flat and they’ll surely get a Royal Ascot winner this year, after coming so close 12 months ago. Mammas Girl was unsuited by the slower conditions in the 1000 Guineas and a return to quick ground will help.

She won the Nell Gwyn at Newmarket on her return to racing as a 3-year-old and although both of her wins have been at Newmarket, hopefully she can transfer that form to Ascot’s flat track.

Day 5 Outsider Tip – Wokingham Stakes

I feel that George Boughey’s charge Spangled Mac is the forgotten horse in the race at a huge price if he gets into this race, said Paul Jacobs when speaking to Paddy Power.

“He pumped out a four timer at the height of summer last year and followed it up with a cracking second over this course and distance behind Adaay In Asia off a mark off a mark of 94, a race he would have won in a few ore strides. Second off 96 on his final start last season, he has since raced twice at the Spring festival at Meydan and his ninth of 16 behind Taamol should not be undersold as he was only beaten two and a half lengths off what was no more than a moderate pace for a race over that trip having been anchored in rear.

Back down to a rating of 95, he could very well sneak in at the bottom of the weights and I suspect if he does, could be a major market mover on the day of the race.”
