Brighton vs Sheffield Wednesday Tip – Brighton Win
Brighton have been excellent under Graham Potter and although the former Ostersunds boss may be tempted to make changes here, he has a big enough squad to cope with the changes. They’ve been playing some excellent stuff in the PL and they gave Chelsea a decent game on NYD. Sheffield Wednesday have dropped off the pace in the Championship and injuries haven’t helped their cause. They surprisingly failed to score against Hull on Wednesday and have now lost three games in a row coming into this tie. Garry Monk will be hoping that his side can pick themselves up in time for this game and this fixture may just come at the wrong time for the Owls.
Brentford vs Stoke Tip – Over 2.5 Goals
The Bees were at their destructive best against Bristol City on Wednesday and they will come into this game full of confidence. Thomas Frank’s men have been superb in the final third and the combination of Ollie Watkins, Said Benrahma and Bryan Mbeumo have been formidable. Their defence has been excellent and they’ve conceded fewer goals than Leeds this season. However, they should be able to get a few against a Stoke side who still struggles to keep the opposition off the score-sheet. The Potters have got going recently, but they’re still suspect at the back and could suffer at the hands of the West Londoners on Saturday.
Reading vs Blackpool – Reading Win
The Royals are having a cracking few weeks under Mark Bowen with the Welshman guiding them to five victories in eight and four in a row. They beat Fulham on Wednesday and even if they make changes here, they should be able to see off out-of-form Blackpool. Charlie Adam and Ovie Ejaria have helped lead the resurgence, with the former coming up against his former employers here. Blackpool have picked up just one point from their last four games and are really struggling for goals. Although Armand Gnandouillet is a threat, they’ve scored just two goals in 360 mins of football and aren’t carving out chances.
