Oxford vs Watford Prediction
Despite being plagued by injury, Watford still managed to pick up a good 1-0 win over Middlesbrough to get their season off and running. Glenn Murray has gone to the Hornets on loan and Troy Deeney is still at the club so the side will be looking to bounce straight back to the Premier League after what can only be described as a disastrous campaign last season. They now have another new manager in charge and will want to avoid a shock against League One opposition. Oxford United lost 2-0 at Lincoln in their opening match and to add insult to injury, central defender Robert Atkinson was dismissed thanks to a second yellow card in injury time. The O’s will fancy their chances of an upset here, if they pick a strong side. They are usually very good at home and were looking good for automatic promotion before lockdown last season, eventually going on to lose in the play-off final. They needed penalties to beat AFC Wimbledon in the last round and we could see another game going the distance here. My prediction is for the match to end a draw. This could also be an open game with Oxford looking at attack, so have a go at over 2.5 goals as a second betting tip.Oxford vs Watford Betting Tips
