Chelsea vs Rennes

Hakim Ziyech Anytime Goalscorer – 7/4 with Bet365

Having fully recovered from a pre-season injury that derailed the start of his Chelsea career, Hakim Ziyech is now getting plenty of minutes. The Moroccan international has started each of the Blues last two games, scoring in the Champions League and Premier League.

Christian Pulusic is likely to miss out, boosting the likelihood of extended minutes for Zieyech. His strong form should see him start against Rennes and his confidence is clearly high in front of goal.

Sevilla vs FK Krasnodar

Luuk De Jong Anytime Goalscorer  – 11/10 with PaddyPower

De Jong has made a decent start to the campaign, netting three goals in eight appearances for Sevilla thus far. One of those goals came against Rennes in their 1-0 Champions League win, a game which Sevilla were favourites to win.

The Spanish side are strong favourites here against the weakest side in the group. The Dutch international will see this as an opportunity to bag another goal against a relatively leaky Russian defence.

Club Brugge vs Borussia Dortmund

Both Teams to Score – 4/6 with Bet365

It hasn’t been the convincing of starts to Dortmund’s European season. A 3-1 defeat to Lazio was a disappointing first game, whilst Zenit held the German side at 0-0 for 78 minutes. With Erling Haaland in the side, Dortmund are always likely to score, especially against a weaker side on paper.

By contrast, Brugges have made a solid start to their UCL season with a win over Zenit and a draw against Lazio. The Belgian outfit have conceded in both games so far but pose a threat going forwards. Dortmund may still be the likely victors but a clean sheet may be wishful thinking.

Barcelona vs Dynamo Kiev

Ansu Fati Anytime Scorer – 8/11 with Bet365

Five goals in eight appearances for Barcelona this season, marks a wonderful start to the campaign for the teenager. Fati has already scored twice in the Champions League at just 18 years old, including this season against Ferencvaros.

On paper, Dynamo Kiev are a strong side but Barcelona should still comfortably sweep them aside. Lionel Messi’s odds are understandably short but with multiple goals overwhelming likely, Fati presents some value at 8/11.

Ferencvaros vs Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo to Score a Hat-trick – 14/1 with William Hill

It’s no secret that Ronaldo scores goals, particularly in the Champions League. The Portuguese captain is well known for his crucial knockout goals but he’s unlikely to pass up the opportunity to stat pad against Champions League debutants.

Back from isolation with a brace, Ronaldo has wasted no time in getting back to the swing of things. Juventus cannot afford to drop points here and will put their Hungarian opponents to the sword. If Ronaldo gets on the score sheet early, betting against him to score more would be unwise.

RB Leipzig vs Paris Saint Germain

Over 3.5 Goals – 6/4 with BetVictor

Two of last season’s Champions League semi finalists meet again in a decidedly lower stakes game. Nevertheless, with both sides tied on three points after two games, this could prove to be a crucial three points for the winners.

RB Leipzig were thrashed 5-0 by Manchester United in their last game and will need an immediate response. PSG have been off the pace by their standards and could well concede against the Bundesliga current 3rd placed side. However, the Parisians will be expected to score and a high-scoring game could be on the cards.
