World Cup Qualifying Tips – 5/1 Treble from Wednesday’s Fixtures

September kicks off with an International break and Wednesday 1st September throws up no less than 13 matches. We’ve picked out the best betting tip from three of the matches to make up a WCQ accumulator tip. Republic of Ireland are in action against Portugal and Scotland travel to Denmark on Wednesday as well as France and the Netherlands. Denmark vs Scotland

The Danes had a European Championships to remember in the summer and were slightly unlucky to lose to England in extra-time of their semi-final. They have started World Cup qualifying well with three wins in a row, scoring 14 goals and conceding none. Scotland were knocked out of Euro 2020 after beating England 0-0 at Wembley and losing against both Croatia and Czech Republic. World Cup qualifying has started in decent fashion for the Scots, drawing against Israel and Austria and beating Faroe Islands 4-0. They’ve won one of their last eight away matches (vs Luxembourg) and we’re predicting another loss here. Betting Tip: Denmark to win (4/9 with Bet Victor).  

Russia vs Croatia

Russia suffered two heavy defeats at Euro 2020, losing 3-0 to Belgium and 4-1 against Denmark but they did beat Finland 1-0. In their last seven matches at home, both teams have scored in five of them and that is quite a strong stat for international football. Croatia were knocked out by Spain after a thrilling 3-3 draw in 90 minutes and both teams scored in three of their four European Championship matches. Away from home, they were on a run of eight straight BTTS matches up until two recent defeats so hopefully, we’ll see more goals in this one. Slovenia to win vs Slovakia

Slovenia are unbeaten in their last eight home matches and although a lot of them fixtures are against the lower-ranked nations, they did beat Croatia in a World Cup qualifier earlier this year. Slovakia have a dreadful recent away record, winning just one of their last nine on the road (in 90 minutes) which was the 2-1 Euro 2020 win against Poland. They have failed to score in four of their last five away from home and even though this is very likely to be a low-scoring match, a home win is the prediction. Slovenia to win (7/5 with SBK)
