Newcastle have had a very mixed start to the season, winning two and losing three of their first five matches in the Premier League so far. I’m backing them to get a win here though, against a Sheffield United side who have lost four and drawn one of their first five. The Magpies are coming into this one on the back of a very positive Champions League point at the San Siro against AC Milan, and they’ll be hoping to bring that into the Premier League. I think they’ll win this one comfortably.

Callum Wilson over 1.5 shots on target

Callum Wilson has bagged himself three goals so far this season, including the winner in his sides 1-0 win over Brentford last weekend; a penalty in the 64th minutes. Last season, his goal tally was very impressive for Eddie Howe’s side. He made 19 starts and nine sub appearances, scoring 19 Premier League goals. With his three in five, he’s well on track to match that this season, and I think he will have a number of chances to get Another here. For that reason, I’m backing him to have at least two shots on target.

Gustavo Hamer to be booked

Gustavo Hamer has started all but one of the Blades five games in the league so far this season, picking up one booking in that time. Last season, he was in the Championship with Coventry City, and in 38 starts and two sub appearances for the sky blues, he picked up eight yellow cards and two reds. I think he is excellent odds for a booking in this one, a game in which he will be in for a tough time against a strong Newcastle side.
