Spurs to win

I’m backing Ange Postecoglu’s Tottenham Hotspur to get back to winning ways in this one, following their heavy 1-4 defeat to Chelsea on Monday night. Spurs went down to 10 men in that one, after Cristian Romero was sent off, and it would have been a completely different game had he stayed on the park. That defeat was their first of the season, having won eight and drawn two of their other Premier League matches. They sit just one point behind Man City at the top of the pile, and I’m backing them to keep the pressure on with a win over a Wolves side who have won just three of their opening 11 league matches.

Son to score anytime

Son’s scintillating form, evident in his impressive season statistics, underlines his prowess in finding the back of the net. With a remarkable goal-scoring record, boasting an average of one goal every two matches, Son is a constant threat to opposing defences. Wolves’ defensive record, while solid, is not impervious, and Son’s skill set aligns perfectly with exploiting any gaps. I’m backing him to grab his ninth of the season here.

Mario Lemina to be booked

Mario Lemina tends to play a bit rough in midfield, often making aggressive tackles. he tends to commit a fair number of fouls in each game, averaging more than a foul per game, with 14 this season in his 11 matches played. In those games, he has picked up four yellow cards. His style of play, involving a lot of challenges in crucial areas, increases the chances of him getting cautioned by the referee and I’m backing him to pick up his fifth here against a difficult Spurs side.
