Monday Night Football Tips: 15/1 – Wolves v Everton Bet Builder Tip & Stats

Wolves predictions

Monday Night Football in the Premier League comes from Molineux on 1 November, as Wolves welcome Everton. We have gone through the stats to pick out a bet builder tip for this match, which kicks-off at 8pm.

Wolves sat in 11th position in the EPL going into the weekend after an unbeaten run of four league games, which included three straight wins. A 1-0 victory at Southampton was followed by a 2-1 win at home against Newcastle, before a pulsating 3-2 success at Villa Park against local rivals, Aston Villa.

Last week, Bruno Lage’s side were seconds away from recording a fourth straight victory, only to concede a late equaliser at Elland Road against Leeds.

Everton’s good start to the season has begun to slightly unravel after just one win from their last five games. That saw Rafa Benetiz’s side drop to eighth place ahead of this weekend’s fixtures.

They are without a win in three games, a run which has included a creditable 1-1 draw at Manchester United, before a 1-0 defeat at to West Ham. However, alarm bells would have been ringing after last week’s 5-2 defeat to Watford at Goodison Park. After Richarlison had given the Toffees a 2-1 lead with half-an-hour to go, nobody would have foreseen struggling Watford hit four goals in the final 12 minutes.

After both sides suffered setbacks and disappointment last week, how will they respond on Monday night. Here is what we are including in our Bet Builder tip.

Over 1.5 goals

After two 1-0 home defeats from their opening two games at Molineux, Wolves latest two games at home have yielded over 1.5 goals. First, in a 2-0 defeat by Brentford, and then a 2-1 win over Newcastle.

All of Everton’s four away games in the Premier League have seen over 1.5 goals, the latest being the 1-1 draw at Manchester United.

With Wolves scoring 9 and conceding 9 in their opening 9 games, we’re not tempted to go for over 2.5 goals, so we think this is a solid bet.

Both teams to score

Wolves 2-1 victory over Newcastle also saw them score their first goals at home of the campaign after drawing blanks in defeats against Tottenham, Manchester United, and Brentford. They can certainly build on that with a goal against the Toffees.

Everton have only failed to score once on the road this campaign, when losing 3-0 at Aston Villa. Their other away games have seen them draw 2-2 at Leeds, win 2-0 at Brighton, before their latest 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

Hwang Hee-Chan to have 2 or more shots on target

Wolves’ top scorer this season with four goals, Hwang Hee-Chan, can build on his brace against Newcastle, and is sure to cause the Everton defence a few problems. The South Korean has also found the net in a 2-0 victory at Watford, and in the 1-1 draw at Leeds.

Demarai Gray to have 1 or more shots on target

Everton have certainly been missing the threat of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is side-lined with a thigh injury. However, Demarai Gray has stepped in to fill his boots and has scored 3 goals so far this term.

Andros Townsend to have 2 or more shots

Andros Townsend is known for scoring spectacular goals, because if he gets the chance he will shoot from distance. If Everton can work the space for Townsend, he will shoot on sight, so this looks a solid bet.
