Nottm Forest vs Man United Prediction

Man United came back from being two goals down last time out against Aston Villa, in what may be the turning points for the Red Devils. It was their first win in five in all competitions, but it showed great character and will fill the team with confidence. Nottingham Forest aren’t doing so great recently, despite winning last time out. Prior to that victory, they were winless in seven, with six defeats and one draw. They recently got rid of manager Steve Cooper, replacing him with Nuno Espirito Santo, but I don’t think their new manager bounce will continue in this one against United.  

Ryan Yates to be booked

You’ll struggle to find a player who plays with more passion than Ryan Yates. The midfielder gets stuck in at every opportunity and lets his opponents always know that he’s in the game. It will be a real midfield battle for him here as he comes up against the likes of Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes, and I expect him to make a number of fouls. He has picked up three yellow cards so far this season, and I won’t be surprised to see him get his fourth here.  

Bruno Fernandes to be booked

Bruno Fernandes has picked up seven yellow cards already this season in his 18 Premier League appearances. In that time, he has made 24 fouls, which is an average of just under 1.5 per game. Coming up against Ryan Yates, who is very physical, will make this one difficult for Bruno. I think he is great odds to pick up his eighth card of the season here.
