West Ham vs Leeds Bet Builder Tip, Stats, Predictions and Odds
West Ham host Leeds fresh from their famous European night on Thursday and David Moyes has hinted at changes to his starting 11.
That gives Leeds a real chance of getting out of the relegation zone today and putting the pressure on Everton ahead of next weekend’s last round of fixtures.
West Ham vs Leeds Bet Builder Tip
Both teams to score
Weston McKennie to be booked
Leeds to win either half
ODDS – 13/2 with Bet365
Both teams to score
Leeds are struggling at the bottom of the table, currently occupying 18th place, the last of the relegation places. Under newly appointed Sam Allardyce, they’ll need to get a result in this one to give themselves any hope of staying in the division. I think they’ll be right up for it from the first kick of the ball as they take the game to West Ham. They’ll have a number of chances and I’m backing them to get on the scoresheet along with their hosts West Ham. After the Hammers secured their place in the Europa Conference League final during the week, they will be on a high, and I think they will also get a goal in this one.
Weston McKennie to be booked
In the English Premier League season 2022/23, Weston McKennie has started 14 times and made three substitute appearances for Leeds United. The defensive midfielder has picked up a huge amount of seven yellow cards in that time, and I think he is excellent odds to receive another one in this one against a West Ham side who will be full of confidence. Coming up against the likes of Declan Rice, he will be in for a real physical battle and I expect McKennie, who averages 1.35 fouls per game, to make a number of rash challenges in this one and I won’t be surprised to see him enter the referee’s book for an eighth time this season.
Leeds to win either half
As it always is at this time of the season, there will be plenty of drama in this one as Leeds United look to take a step in the right direction as they hope to secure their Premier League status. West Ham are all but safe, six points above the relegation zone with two games to play, but they will also be looking to fully confirm their safety as well. I can’t call a winner of this one, as I think it’ll be back and forth, but I’m backing Leeds to win either half. Last time out against Newcastle, they were ahead early on, and I think they could replicate that here. They won the second half against table toppers Man City, and despite not winning the match they have been improved in recent weeks. I think they’re good odds to win either half at the London Stadium.
