Brentford vs Leeds – BTTS

Brentford and Leeds would be in most Premier League fans’ choices for ‘most exciting’ teams in the top-flight; hard-pressing, goal happy and easy-to-watch, goals should be expected in west London.

Their last three outings have seen both teams score, and with the pair having good starts to the season – with Brentford being the fourth-highest scorers so far this season – this one seems to be the absolute banker.

Luton vs Wigan – BTTS

Wigan are an unpredictable side at the moment; a 5-1 drubbing at home to Burnley last Saturday was followed by a draw at home to West Brom in midweek, showing a similarly good turnaround within the space of just four days.

It remains to be seen how Luton will fare this season given that they have only won two of their opening seven games, although they are a different animal at home compared to their away adventures.

That should see them score against an out-of-sorts Wigan defence, though the Latics’ willingness to attack should see them bag at least once in Kenilworth Road.

Swansea vs QPR – BTTS

Swansea have endured an incredibly poor start to the season, winning just one game and conceding 11 in seven matches.

That being said, three of their last four games have seen both teams put the ball in the net, and with QPR having seen the same fate in four of their last five games, you’d think it should happen again.

Swansea are all over the place at the back with QPR the side who should win; but poor defending themselves could see the Welsh outfit get on the scoreboard.

Portsmouth vs Peterborough – BTTS

Like QPR, Pompey have seen four of their last five games result in both teams scoring.

Danny Cowley’s men have been exceptional up front in recent games, with Dane Scarlett, Joe Pigott and Colby Bishop forming a deadly contingent of strikers to leave defenders running scared at Fratton Park.

But the away side have kept Jonson Clarke-Harris in their ranks, and having come down from the Championship their forward line could run amok over the course of the season. Pompey are generally sturdy, but they could fall foul to conceding once against Grant McCann’s men.
