2020 Travelers Championship Golf Betting Tips – Strong 12/1 Selection to go close

We head to the TPC Highlands Golf Club for this week’s golf betting tips on the PGA Tour and the top players are in attendance for the third straight week.

I feel this week is a lot more predictable than the first couple of weeks now the top guns will have shaken off any rust as they arrive at a familiar course that has been on the circuit for years.

I have four strong predictions for this week’s golf tournament and they are as follows:

My first selection is a strong one and it is JUSTIN THOMAS 12/1 WIN. Justin Thomas has played both weeks since the Tour returned and he was very rusty week one by his own admission at the Colonial and still managed to give himself a chance on the Sunday. Last week was very eye-catching as Justin Thomas made the cut on the number before shooting -13 for the weekend. It appears his game finally clicked. Thomas struck the ball lovely and still managed to leave a few out there on the greens. He was hitting greens for fun over the weekend last week and that is a key stat round TPC Highlands. I can’t see him not being there with a chance to win on Sunday.

Koepka can challenge at the top

My next selection is World number 4 BROOKS KOEPKA 20/1 EW (William Hill 1/5 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) The suspension of golf potentially came at the perfect time for Koepka as he was struggling with his game and a niggling knee injury. After a couple of months rest Brooks’ game is starting to reach the heights we expect. He improved with every round last week and his game appeared to be in great shape on Sunday with many shots down the throat of the flag. Brooks is way down in the Fed Ex Cup rankings and he will be eager to work him way back up near the top. Expect that to happen this week with a strong showing on a course that will suit his game.

 

Ancer to go well again

My next selection is last week’s runner up ABRAHAM ANCER 35/1 (William Hill 1/5 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) who did nothing wrong on Sunday hitting all 18 greens and making many birdies. The fact he hit all 18 greens shows the shape his game is in and like I said earlier hitting greens in regulation is the key stat round this course. His confidence will be sky high after last week as he continues to improve and impress, and with the William Hill cash out and partial cash out, you might get a good offer for your bet. That first win is only around the corner and could well be this week.

 

Youngster Niemann a good each-way bet

My final selection is JOAQUIN NIEMANN 35/1 (Sky Bet 1/5 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9). Joaquin is one of many young talents on the PGA Tour and was another who caught the eye last week for this week’s venue. Joaquin was another who seemed to find his game over the weekend striking the ball as well as anyone. He is another golfer who hits greens for fun and will give himself plenty of opportunities this week for birdie. He is ready to make the step up and win a big event like this week on a course that suits his game as he is one of the best iron players around at the moment.
