Both Teams to Score Tips for Saturday’s Matches around Europe (27/06/20)
BTTS Bet for this Weekend
Both teams to score tips for this weekend’s Saturday matches including the reasons for each pick and which bookmaker to use on our BTTS bet.
As Wigan continue their move away from the Championship relegation zone, they have also become fairly reliable in front of goal and they now face a Blackburn team which netted three times last weekend. That game features in this Saturday BTTS Accumulator alongside two games from the Bundesliga with attack-minded teams Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen seeking a final top-four league position. The final selection involves Serie A action with struggling outfits Brescia and Genoa both capable of finding the net.
BTTS in Wigan vs Blackburn
An impressive 2-0 Championship win at Huddersfield last weekend extended the unbeaten sequence of Wigan to seven matches while they have also netted in ten of their last eleven league games. The Latics will now be seeking a fifth win in six games when hosting a Blackburn team which earned a useful 3-1 home win against Bristol City last Saturday. Rovers have scored at least twice in five of their last seven games and are still targeting a promotion playoff berth.
BTTS in Borussia Monchengladbach vs Hertha Berlin
A draw from this final game of their Bundesliga campaign would probably guarantee Champions League football next season for Borussia Monchengladbach. Yet recent 3-0 and 3-1 victories earned against Wolfsburg and Paderborn respectively ended a period of inconsistency for Borussia, and they now face a Hertha Berlin outfit which returned to form with a 2-0 home win against Bayer Leverkusen last weekend. Hertha have also netted in seven of eight fixtures since the resumption of action.
BTTS in Bayer Leverkusen vs Mainz
A 2-0 loss at Hertha Berlin last weekend was a massive setback for Bayer Leverkusen in their quest to secure Champions League football next term and they must win this match to have any hope of achieving that aim. That latest loss was the first time in eight matches during which Bayer have failed to score a goal and they now host a Mainz outfit free from relegation concerns. The visitors have also netted at least once while avoiding defeat in all four away matches since the restart of Bundesliga football, including a 2-0 win at Borussia Dortmund.
BTTS in Brescia vs Genoa
Although Brescia remain at the foot of Serie A following a midweek 1-1 draw at Fiorentina, they have been plagued by ill-fortune since late December when conceding important very late goals in several matches. The Lombardy based team have yet to win this year but have failed to score in just one of five previous home matches and face a Genoa outfit beaten 4-1 by Parma in a Tuesday evening home game. However, the visitors have netted in every competitive match during 2020 apart from a 0-0 stalemate at Fiorentina back in late January.
