Sheffield United are still on the tail of Burnley, but they will be far more interested in the gap to third place. That is 11 points and may well continue to grow.

Hull have enjoyed a good run under Liam Rosenior. They have only lost once since he took over, and the gap to the relegation zone has increased. Despite all that, I can’t really see them getting anything at Bramall Lane.

Burnley vs West Brom, Friday 8pm

It’s a battle of two massively in-form sides at Turf Moor! Burnley could move 19 points clear of third place if they win on Friday night, which is simply remarkable at this stage of the season.

West Brom will be out to stop them, and they are in great nick themselves and right in play-off contention. But I think this is where their winning run ends. Burnley are just too good right now.
