GW 11 Goalkeepers and Defenders Tips
Chelsea face bottom of the league Watford this weekend. The Blues have won their last four league games, scoring 11 and conceding just three times. Marcos Alonso (6.3m) has averaged 7.5 points over that period with a goal, an assist and two clean sheets. Chelsea look good value for another shut out and the Spaniard possesses plenty of attacking threat. On the other end of the price spectrum, Martin Kelly (4.1m) has provided plenty of value in the opening weeks of the season. Three clean sheets from six games is an impressive return but with his starting spot far from assured, he is best avoided for those looking for cut-price defensive options. Manchester City’s Nicolas Otamendi (5.5m) is their top-scoring defender having returned two clean sheets, a goal and an assist. Despite this, Otamendi has scored just one point in five of his seven starts and is no longer certain to start each week with the return of John Stones from injury.GW 11 Midfielders Tips
Christian Pulisic (7.1m) jumped onto many FPL manager’s radars with a hat-trick against Burnley. The American international had struggled for minutes in recent weeks but his stellar performance should afford him more starts. With Watford next, he may be worth an early gamble if he is set to start the match. Callum Hudson-Odi is starting to get minutes but after playing in the Carabao Cup against Manchester United, he might be set for a place on the bench again. Burnley’s young midfielder, Dwight McNeil (6.0m), has been a good value options so far this season. He has so far scored once and accrued four assists, returning attacking points in each of his last two games. Despite this, an away trip to a stubborn Sheffield United may not be the game to invest in the promising winger.GW 11 Forwards Tips
A teenage FPL prospect who may be worth backing sooner rather than later is Brighton’s (Aaron Connolly 4.6m). Since starting his first Premier League game in Gameweek 8 against Tottenham, the Irishman has bagged two goals and two assists in just 203 minutes of game time. At such a low price he is a great enabler ahead of a visit from Norwich. The goals have well and truly dried up for Bournemouth in recent matches. No goals in their last three fixtures is concerning considering The Cherries faced 19th placed Norwich and 20th placed Watford. With a fairly stubborn Manchester United up next, it may be time to give the likes of Josh King (6.3m) and Callum Wilson (8.0m) a miss.GW 11 Fantasy Football Tips: Thatsagoal Team
