Fiorentina to beat SPAL
Juventus to beat Roma
Gil Vicente to beat Belenenses
Go Ahead Eagles to beat Almere City
Panathinaikos to beat Panionios
Accumulator Odds – 12/1 with Unibet.
Two Serie A fixtures feature in this Sunday Accumulator with Fiorentina hoping to collect three points at the expense of SPAL while Juventus will aim to follow their latest 4-0 victory by overcoming a Roma team surprisingly beaten in their last match. The Portuguese Primeira Liga is also included with Gil Vicente clashing with fourth-bottom Belenenses while further fixtures are covered in the Dutch Eerste and Greek Super League with useful home teams Go Ahead Eagles and Panathinaikos in action. Odds of approximately 13/1 will be available for the successful outcome of these tips.
Having won just one Serie A game since mid-October and just three all season, SPAL are currently at the foot of the league table and that latest 2-1 victory was earned at Torino last month when playing against ten opponents for thirty-five minutes. SPAL have earned just one other point on the road this season and now travel to face Fiorentina with the hosts experiencing a disappointing season by their standards. As per their visitors, La Viola have won just once from mid-October onwards in league action, but they were denied at Bologna last time by a very late equaliser and claimed a 1-1 home draw with Inter Milan last month. An overdue league win for Fiorentina is forecasted.
A surprise 2-0 home defeat by Torino in their latest game was not the best of preparations for Roma ahead of this Serie A clash with joint leaders Juventus at Stadio Olimpico. It was a second home defeat of the season for the Roman team which followed collecting ten points from four matches during December. Meanwhile, Juve have suffered just two competitive losses all season with Lazio winning 3-1 on both occasions. The Old Lady will be hoping they will not be jinxed by teams from Rome this season but after beating Cagliari 4-0 in their opening match of the year, they could inflict another defeat upon Roma.
Following a very mediocre start to their current Portuguese Primeira Liga campaign, there have been more recent positive signs for Gil Vicente. Just one defeat incurred in six previous matches, with three victories earned, is encouraging and they are also unbeaten in league action on home soil this term. Visitors Belenenses were beaten 7-1 by Sporting Braga in their opening 2020 league match amid three losses in five Primeira games. Both teams can be unpredictable but the decent home form of Gil could prove crucial in collecting three points.
On the resumption of action in the Dutch second-tier Eerste Divisie, Go Ahead Eagles will be seeking to extend their impressive form from the end of last year when they stayed unbeaten in all competitions from the beginning of September onwards. The Eagles also netted ten goals in winning their last three fixtures, while visitors Almere City also won their last three 2019 matches but had experienced very inconsistent form before those victories. City are also not the best of travellers having lost four successive away games prior to winning 3-2 at NEC last month, and they are facing another loss in this game.
It has not been the best of starts to 2020 for Panathinaikos with two consecutive 1-0 defeats incurred, one of was sustained at current Greek Super League 1 leaders Olympiakos. Yet ‘Pao’ are unbeaten in five competitive home games which includes four victories, and they now host a Panionios outfit aiming to avoid a sixth successive league defeat. Just one goal has been netted by the visitors in their previous six competitive matches and another loss is looming.
