Red Star vs Bourg-en-Bresse Prediction – Red Star Win

Following their relegation from Ligue 2, Red Star have adapted well to life in the French third tier and currently sit just a point behind leaders Dunkerque. Their steely defence has helped them climb the table and they’ve conceded just six home goals so far. They won just one of their first five matches at this stadium, however they’ve since managed four victories on the spin and should be able to beat a Bourg-en-Bresse side who can’t stop conceding goals. Last time out, they were 2-0 up against Beziers before being breached twice in the second half. They’ve also lost their last two away games and that included conceding five times to Lyon Duchere. They’ve lost each of their last two visits to this stadium and that barren run in the capital is expected to continue here.

 

Standard Liege vs Oostende Prediction – Standard Liege Win and 3 or more Goals

Standard Liege got back to winning ways last week with a 3-2 away win at KV Mechelen. It was a welcome three points for a side who had ended 2019 in poor form. At home, they’ve won 7 of 11 and only two sides (including high-flying Gent) have won at this ground. It looks like it could be a long 90 minutes for Oostende who have lost nine of eleven on their travels. They haven’t scored an away goal since October 5th and fresh from conceding five at Sporting Charleroi. It ended 3-1 here in December 2018 and we could see a similar outcome once again here. Standard do tend to score goals and they could punish a woeful Oostende defence here.

 

Cadiz vs Racing Santander Prediction – Cadiz Win

Cadiz have gone off the boil in recent weeks however they have had a couple of difficult fixtures. They’ve dropped home points against play-off chasing duo Mirandes and Numancia recently, however this should be significantly easier. Racing Santander have been struggling and lost 2-1 to in-form Deportivo La Coruna last week. They’ve not won since mid-November and have failed to score in three of their last four away games. They’ve conceded two goals in three of their last four away matches and despite Cadiz’s brief wobble, their lack of firepower is likely to hold them back on Friday night.

 

De Graafschap vs MVV Prediction – Over 1.5 De Graafschap Team Goals

The hosts won at Almere City last weekend and arrive here in excellent form. They are now unbeaten since the end of November and are searching for a third consecutive victory on Friday evening. They have been scoring plenty of goals and have netted 11 times in their last four games and MVV could find it difficult to stop them grabbing a couple here. It would have landed in eight of their last 11 home matches and they are facing a side who have conceded 2+ goals in every single away game since mid-September.
