Golf Betting Tips – Andalucía Masters: European Tour

The European Tour moves on from the UK swing and heads to Spain to play arguably the best course in Europe and that of course is Valderrama GC.

Hojgaard heads the market after winning for the second time in his young career last week but this is a different test altogether and it will be interesting to see how he gets on this week.

MARCUS KINHULT 25/1

My first selection is MARCUS KINHULT 25/1 (Paddy Power). Kinhult has played solid over the last two weeks with a T15th and a T13th to his name. He now arrives here at Valderamma and he will be looking to improve further on a course that plays to his strengths. He is great around the greens and great with the putter which is going to be key this week. He won the British Masters at Hillside GC holding off a strong field so he isn’t scared to get the job done when he puts himself into a winning position, He is ticking along nicely and I expect a strong performance this week.

JORGE CAMPILLO 25/1

My next selection is JORGE CAMPILLO 25/1. This type of test is right up Campillo’s street and being back on home soil can only prove beneficial. Campillo won the Qatar Masters earlier in the year before going off the boil a little bit. However, he has played great golf over the last two weeks finishing in the top 10 on both occasions. His short game is certainly a strength which is a key factor this week as there will be many missed greens round this layout and getting up and down for pars will prove key. He seems a cracking bet this week.

JUSTIN HARDING 60/1

My next selection is JUSTIN HARDING 60/1. Justin played really solid golf over the UK Swing and was arguably unlucky not to get his head in front. He is a really gritty player that has good imagination around the greens. This course will play tough which is the scenario he tends to excel in. He has only played in Spain once but that did result in a top 10 finish last year so I can see him going well here this week at a very nice e/w price.

CALUM HILL 66/1

My final selection is CALUM HILL 66/1. Calum Hill is another who has been rounding into form lately. Two weeks ago, he improved with every round at Celtic Manor on the way to a top 10 finish before backing that up with another top 10 finish last week despite arguably having the worst of the draw over the first two days. He continues to hit his irons really well which is backed up by his GIR stats over the last 2 weeks. If he can continue to hit greens as often as he has been over the last few weeks I see no reason who he can’t compete here this week.
