Saturday’s Bundesliga Betting Tips

The fixtures get underway at 2.30pm on Saturday 16th May and all four of the matches in our accumulator tip kick-off at that time. You can read the full preview of each game on our Bundesliga predictions page or find the reasons for each pick on our accumulator tip below.

Borussia Dortmund to beat Schalke 04 – 4/7

“Dortmund sit four points behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga table and probably cannot afford any more losses this season. Prior to the break, Dortmund had won their previous four league matches.

On the other hand, Schalke were on a very poor run before the break and it has put a European place at threat. They are currently 7th in the table but had failed to win in seven matches. This form is simply not good enough and Schalke have failed to score in their last four away Bundesliga matches.”

Hertha Berlin to win or draw vs Hoffenheim – 5/8

“Hoffenheim signed off their home fixtures with a 6-0 thrashing against Bayern Munich having picked up just two points in their last five matches and Hertha Berlin ended with high scoring draws against Fortuna Dusseldorf and Werder Bremen. Hertha have a decent away record of late and if you’re betting on a Bundesliga accumulator this weekend, using the double chance market to bet on Hertha Berlin to win or draw might be a good bet.

Hertha Berlin have not been beaten in their last five Bundesliga away matches, winning three and drawing two. That run included impressive wins at Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg.”

Wolfsburg to win vs Augsburg – 6/5

“Before the league was halted, Augsburg had not won in five matches, losing four of those. In that run they had also failed to score in three of those games. Wolfsburg were unbeaten in six before the break and have won two of their last three on the road and scored nine goals in that time.

The home side haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last six Bundesliga fixtures now and we can’t see that happening this weekend.”

Fortuna Dusseldorf to win vs Paderborn – 6/5

“Before the break, Fortuna Dusseldorf managed just one win in eight league matches (a 2-0 win against Freiburg) but did draw four of their previous six games. Paderborn have only picked up one point from their last six Bundesliga fixtures. Neither of these sides go into this weekend in great form but home advantage in what might turn out to be a must win game mean Fortuna Dusseldorf get the vote in the last leg of our weekend accumulator tip”
