Premier League Fantasy Football Tips and Advice for Gameweek 25

Fantasy Football tips

Moving on from this season’s first double game week and it’s back to usual this weekend, with all 20 teams in Premier League action for Fantasy Football.

Here’s our rundown of who’s hot and who’s not ahead of Gameweek 25 as we await news of Sadio Mane’s injury which meant he only played 20 minutes of the double gameweek, leaving people who captained or triple captained the winger furious.

Goalkeepers and Defenders Tips

We kick off this week with early season favourite, Lucas Digne (5.8m). The Everton defender may be back in favour with FPL managers for the upcoming weeks. Digne has two assists in his last two, taking his tally to five for the season. Added to his three clean sheets in his last seven, Digne could once again be a good pick as Everton visit Watford this weekend.

Adam Webster (4.4m) could present himself as a useful cut-price option for the coming weeks. Brighton haven’t been a source of many defensive points but have a kind run of fixtures coming up. What’s more, Webster has some attacking threat, having scored three goals this season.

Manchester United’s Brandon Williams (4.1m) has started four of their last five league games. The young fullback has a goal and an assist from his seven league starts this season and is shaping up to be a reliable bench option.

Midfielders Tips

Adama Traoré (5.8m) has proved many of his critics wrong by adding an end product to his game this season. Traore has established himself in the Wolves XI with his four goals and seven assists in the league. With four returns in his last seven, he is a man in form for a Wolves side pushing for top four.

Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi (5.3m) has played 90 minutes in each of the Blues’ last three league games. In that time, he has scored and assisted, taking his to five-goal contributions from just six starts.  His place in the side looks assured with Pulisic still out with injury.

Miguel Almiron (5.8m) scored his goal for Newcastle in Gameweek 18 against Crystal Palace. Since then the Paraguayan has added a second ahead of a kind run of fixtures that features Palace. He is certainly one to monitor.

Sadio Mané (12.4m) double gameweek ended before it could get started after being forced of through injury against Wolves. At the time of writing, it is unclear how long he will be out for but at such a hefty price, he is worth moving on for most FPL managers.

Forwards Tips

Gabrielle Martinelli (4.5m) stole the headlines after his solo goal against Chelsea earned his side a point. Martinelli has hit double figures in all competitions. In the league, he has three goals from five starts including netting in the last two fixtures. He could be profitable for anyone willing to take a risk on his game time as a third choice striker.

Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson (7.4m) endured a long barren spell but a change in formation in Gameweek 24 changed his fortunes. Wilson scored his first goal and could be set to go on a good run of form with Bournemouth looking much improved using a 4-4-1-1.
