Norwich vs Bournemouth Betting Tip – Norwich win

It’s hard to trust either of these two teams considering their positions in the Premier League, but I think Norwich have shown more signs of an upturn in fortunes than Bournemouth in recent games. Norwich were unlucky not to record home wins against Arsenal, Tottenham and Crystal Palace last month and they will fancy their chances against an out-of-sorts Bournemouth. Eddie Howe’s faltering Bournemouth side have lost nine of their last 11 Premier League games and have dropped down the table like a stone. The Cherries have failed to score in six of their last eight Premier League outings and with a mounting injury crisis to deal with Norwich can take advantage to record a rare three points.

Southampton vs Wolves Betting Tip – Southampton win

Southampton are one of the form teams in the Premier League now and they can get the better of Wolves at St Mary’s. Southampton have moved away from trouble at the wrong end of the table after picking up 13 points from their last five games, including an impressive win at Leicester last weekend. Wolves have failed to win any of their last five games in all competitions and they looked weary in their FA Cup replay defeat to Manchester United in midweek despite naming a full-strength team. Southampton will go into this game full of confidence and despite a disappointing home record this season they can put Wolves to the sword with the in-form striker Danny Ings firing on all cylinders.

Newcastle v Chelsea Betting Tip – Chelsea win

Chelsea can solidate their place in fourth spot by coming away from their trip to Newcastle with all three points. Frank Lampard’s side have the joint-second best away record in the Premier League this season and they will be keen to maintain that at St James’ Park. Chelsea have picked up seven points from the last nine available away from home, including wins at Tottenham and Arsenal as they continue their hunt for a top four finish. Newcastle are without a win in their last four Premier League games and they have lost the last two at home to Everton and Leicester to leave them nervously looking over their shoulders at the relegation zone. Steve Bruce has had to contend with a min-injury crisis in the last few weeks and I feel Chelsea’s young, vibrant attacking side will have too much for them this weekend.

Huddersfield v Brentford Betting Tip – Brentford win

Brentford have automatic promotion in their sights as they prepare for a trip to struggling Huddersfield Town this weekend. The Bees have won four of their last games in all competitions and are just six points off the top two in the Championship table. Huddersfield on the other hand are embroiled in a relegation battle, sitting four points and two places above the drop-zone. The Terriers have lost three of their last four in the league and there are growing concerns that the club might suffer back-to-back relegations. Brentford boast one of the best attacking line-ups in the Championship with the likes of Said Benrahma, Bryan Mbeumo and Ollie Watkins and they will fancy their chances of firing their side to another victory at Huddersfield.

Sheffield Wednesday v Blackburn Rovers Betting Tip – Sheffield Wednesday win

Sheffield Wednesday picked up one of the results of the season with a 2-0 win at Leeds last weekend and they will be hoping to build on that against Blackburn Rovers. Despite only winning two of their last seven at home Wednesday lie in sixth position in the Championship table and they know they will need to improve their home form if they are to continue their promotion push. Blackburn have lost six of their last nine on the road and they will not relish a trip to Hillsborough to take on a confident Wednesday side. Tony Mowbray’s side have failed to win any of their last five games and I fancy that run to continue with Wednesday taking the spoils this weekend.
