  • 3.00pm – Wolves vs West Ham
  • 5.30pm – Liverpool vs Arsenal

Sunday

Leicester vs Chelsea

The weekend Premier League action starts with a bang, with the early kick-off seeing Chelsea visit Leicester at King Power Stadium. Leicester looks like a team in the shadow of themselves, and they sit 12th at the moment, 7 points behind fourth place, meaning they have much to work on to fulfil their ambitions.

Talk of Brendan Rodgers going to Manchester United doesn’t do them any favours, and they need to be fully focused for the visit of Thomas Tuchel’s side, who look impressive this season, sitting on top of the table, 3 points ahead of Manchester City.

Chelsea has a striker issue at the moment, with both Lukaku and Werner injured, and it is unknown whether they will be fit for this game. It may prove costly for Chelsea, and a draw seems like a reasonable outcome.

Score Prediction: Leicester 1-1 Chelsea (7/1)

Aston Villa vs Brighton

Probably the game we are all looking forward to, as it will be Steven Gerrard’s managerial debut in the Premier League. He inherits an Aston Villa side struggling for form at the moment, with 5 straight defeats in the Premier League.

Now, Aston Villa is up against Brighton, a team that has impressed many this season, but who are also without a win in their last 7 games in all competitions. It is difficult to predict this game, but passion from the squad and the supporters is likely to push Villa to a victory.

Score Prediction: Aston Villa 1-0 Brighton (8/1)

Burnley vs Crystal Palace

Burnley head into this game with a bit of confidence restored after their horrible start of the season. They won against Brentford and drew away at Chelsea prior to the international break, so it seems that Sean Dyche’s men finally got their mojo back.

They won’t have it easy on Saturday, as they are up against a high-flying Crystal Palace team, who has won their last two games, one of which was a 2-0 away win against Manchester City. This is a game that can go either way, but both teams would probably be content with a share of the spoils.

Score Prediction: Burnley 1-1 Crystal Palace (6/1)

Newcastle vs Brentford

The new era at Newcastle is finally underway. New manager Eddie Howe will make his long-anticipated debut in the Magpies bench, and he doesn’t have any time to waste. Newcastle is already five points below 17th place Watford and Aston Villa, so they must collect points as soon as possible.

Brentford’s impressive start to the campaign slowly faded away, as they now have 5 straight defeats in the Premier League, the last of which came at home against struggling Norwich. Brentford will be short on confidence, and we back the inspired Newcastle to take advantage of it.

Score Prediction: Newcastle 1-0 Brentford (9/1)

Norwich vs Southampton

A new era at Norwich begins, as Daniel Farke left the managerial post, and Dean Smith was appointed in his place. Smith has a tough job on his hands, as this Norwich side seems way out of depth for the Premier League.

Southampton is undefeated in the last 4 games in the Premier League, and they will be confident of taking home all three points on Saturday. We back them to do just that, and Dean Smith’s first game in charge of Norwich to end with disappointment.

Score Prediction: Norwich 1-3 Southampton (20/1)

Watford vs Manchester United

It seems like the battle for survival in the Premier League will go down to the wire, and Watford will be right in the mix. Watford is one of the teams which are widely expected to go back to the Championship and their recent form does not suggest otherwise – they have just 2 wins in their last 10 games in all competitions.

Manchester United still struggle to find their form, even though they signed world-class talent in the summer. The results have been underwhelming, and many expected them to be destroying teams, having in mind the quality in their squad. The pressure mounts on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but United should have too much for Watford.

Score Prediction: Watford 0-2 Manchester United (15/2)

Wolves vs West Ham

This is another game that is sure to be a cracker, as two in-form teams go head to head on Saturday. Wolves sit 6 points behind West Ham, who find themselves in 3rd place, and on the back of an impressive 3-2 win against Liverpool before the international break.

David Moyes’ side is growing in confidence that they can secure a much-wanted Champions League football for next season, but the road is still long. This is a game that traditionally offers goals, so expect nothing else this time around. A high-scoring draw seems like the most likely outcome.

Score Prediction: Wolves 2-2 West Ham (14/1)

Liverpool vs Arsenal

Saturday’s program finishes with a classic at Anfield. Liverpool host an in-form Arsenal side, who finally seems to be getting to where they should be – near the top of the table. Liverpool is without a win in their last 2 games in the Premier League, drawing against Brighton and losing against West Ham.

Arsenal, on the other hand, hasn’t lost a game in all competitions since the 5-0 defeat against Manchester City in late August, and they will be full of confidence going into this game. History is not on Arsenal’s side when visiting Anfield, and their last win in the Premier League on this ground came in 2012. Liverpool is just a different animal at their home stadium, so we back them to win on Saturday.

Score Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Arsenal (11/1)
