Fleetwood to beat Bristol Rovers
Burton to beat Accrington Stanley
Harrogate to beat Wrexham
Hartlepool to beat Stockport
Dundee United to beat Morton
Although it is FA Cup Fourth Round weekend, this Saturday accumulator tip features two games apiece from League One and the National League with another from the Scottish Championship. Both Fleetwood and Burton will attempt to improve their promotion prospects from the third tier when hosting Bristol Rovers and Accrington Stanley respectively while Harrogate and Hartlepool will be seeking home wins in the fifth tier. Meanwhile in Scotland, in-form Championship leaders Dundee United host inconsistent Morton.
It has not been the best of starts to 2020 for Bristol Rovers with four League One and FA Cup defeats suffered and at least two goals conceded per game. Rovers are now winless in league action since mid-December and host a Fleetwood team which has become inconsistent in recent weeks but which has lost just two league games since late November. Late goals have cost the Cod Army several valuable points this year but they should be capable of beating out-of-form Rovers.
Losing all three League One matches this year and then suffering midweek elimination from the EFL Trophy, when beaten 2-1 by fourth-tier team Salford, has ensured a poor start to 2020 for Accrington Stanley. Ahead of this visit to Burton, Stanley have also won only one league game on the road since the beginning of October. In contrast, the Brewers have won their last three league games by one-goal margins and they have won also claimed four consecutive wins in league action at the Pirelli Stadium. A home victory is likely.
A productive few weeks for Harrogate have allowed the North Yorkshire team to move into second position in the National League table and into the next round of the FA Trophy. Four successive victories have also been earned at Wetherby Road ahead of the visit of a Wrexham outfit which can be difficult to predict. The Red Dragons have won twice on the road in recent weeks against teams residing in the bottom eight of the table, but those wins are their only away victories this season amid many defeats. Harrogate could seal another three points.
Apart from suffering three recent defeats by Harrogate, Hartlepool have lost just two other competitive matches from late October onwards and they denied National League leaders Barrow at Victoria Park at the end of last month. Stockport are the latest visitors to the venue but they are winless in five matches this year including a 4-0 home defeat by lower league Dorking in the FA Trophy. County are currently struggling in front of goal and the more prolific Hartlepool team could secure victory.
There seem to be no stopping Dundee United in their quest to secure promotion from the Scottish Championship as they have won eleven of their previous twelve league fixtures and drew 1-1 with their city rivals in the other game. Morton will be the next visitors to Tannadice and they have experienced a mixed set of results in recent weeks as they seek to avoid relegation. The Greenock team have won just two league games on the road this season against fellow lower table outfits and they are facing defeat in this match.
