Burnley v Bournemouth Betting Tip – Burnley win

Burnley play host to relegation-threatened Bournemouth looking to maintain their recent fine run of form and pile the misery on former Clarets boss Eddie Howe. Sean Dyche’s men have three out of their last four Premier League games to move clear of any trouble at the wrong end of the table. Bournemouth are just two points above the drop zone and their away form has been a major concern all season, having lost seven of their last eight games on their travels. Bournemouth have a daunting looking run of fixtures between now and the end of the season and they will know they need to improve away from home if they are to secure survival. Burnley have won their last three encounters against Bournemouth by an aggregate score of 8-1 and they look a strong play to make it four this weekend.

Sheffield United v Brighton Betting Tip – Sheffield United win

Surprise package of the season Sheffield United will be seeking to keep up their bid for a top six finish when they welcome Brighton to Bramall Lane. The Blades are sixth in the table, two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea with fans dreaming of qualifying for the Champions League following their remarkable first season back in the Premier League. Chris Wilder’s men have been strong at home this season, losing just two of their last nine at Bramall Lane and they will fancy their chances of another three points against travel-sick Brighton. Brighton have the third worst away record in the league this season and they find themselves embroiled in a relegation battle. The Seagulls have failed to win any of their last seven matches and keeping clean sheets has been an issue with just one shutout in their last 16 outings. Sheffield United beat Brighton down on the South Coast in December and I fully expect them to the do the double on Saturday where a win could potentially put them in the top four.

Birmingham v Sheffield Wednesday Betting Tip – Birmingham win

Birmingham City take on Sheffield Wednesday with both sides moving in opposite directions in the table. Birmingham are upwardly mobile after going on a seven-game unbeaten run to move them clear of trouble, while Sheffield Wednesday have seen their play-off hopes falter following a run of six games without a win. Birmingham have won three of their last four games and earned an impressive draw with high-flying Brentford last time out. Sheffield Wednesday have endured a miserable couple of months since Christmas when they looked real promotion contenders with a run of seven defeats from their last 10 games seeing them drop out of the promotion picture. Garry Monk returns to Birmingham for the first time since his departure last summer and I think it will be an unhappy return for the Owls boss looking at the form of both sides.

MK Dons v Bolton Betting Tip – MK Dons win

MK Dons will be looking to move further clear of trouble in League One when they play host to basement boys Bolton Wanderers. The Dons are on a four-game unbeaten run which has seen them pick up eight points to move 10 points clear of the relegation zone. MK Dons have won the majority of their points at home this season and Russell Martin’s side have picked up five wins from their last six home games. Bolton make the trip to Milton Keynes with the club almost certain of suffering relegation from League One. The Trotters have only won one of their last 10 games and their away form has been a problem all season, having lost 11 of their 13 fixtures on their travels. This fixture offers MK Dons the perfect opportunity to pick up another three points and move ever closer to survival and I expect them to pile the misery on struggling Bolton.

Crawley v Stevenage Betting Tip – Crawley win

Alex Revell takes charge of Stevenage for the first time for the trip to Crawley hoping to inspire a great escape for the League Two strugglers. Stevenage are rock bottom of the league, eight points adrift of safety following a disastrous season for the club. Revell is in charge now at Stevenage following Graham Westley’s departure after a run of six straight defeats. Stevenage have won just three times all season and I can’t see that improving at Crawley. John Yems has done a good job at Crawley and they have lost twice in their last 12 games. Although Crawley have failed to win any of their last three games they should have more than enough quality to see off a beleaguered Stevenage outfit who seem almost certain to be relegated.
