Northern Trust Each-way Betting Tips

My first selection is XANDER SCHAUFFELE 22/1 EW. Xander has been played really good golf all year and all’s he is missing in that victory. He played good golf at the PGA Championship 2 weeks ago but just didn’t quite make enough putts to really challenge for victory. He’s had 6 top 20 finishes in his last 7 starts and sits at 11th in the FedEx Cup rankings. This course should suit him well and he has won a Tour Championship in the past so hopefully he can add a different FedEx Cup playoff event to his tally here. I expect him to win before the season ends and this week could well be the week he does just that. His GIR stats are very good and on a course that will play tough but score-able I expect him to be bang there.

My next selection is JASON DAY 22/1 EW. Day has been playing his best golf for a long time over the last couple of months and I’m sure he’s eager to continue his fine run of form into the upcoming playoff events. He is very happy with where his game is at and he believes he’s very close to winning. He’s played the course ten times making the cut on every occasion, this includes three top 10 finishes so he is going to feel very comfortable here. Day is a player who thrives off confidence and after a bogey free final round at the PGA Championship which resulted in a top 5 finish his confidence will be very high.

My next selection is MATTHEW WOLFF 66/1 EW. Wolff has been striking the ball very well since golf resumed and the stats certainly back that up. His tee to greens stats were very impressive on his last start at the PGA Championship if the putter warmed up just a touch on Sunday he would have been bang there. He already has a victory to his career finishing with an eagle to beat Morikawa and DeChambeau shows the talent Wolff has. I believe he is ready to step up further and win a tournament of this magnitude. This course should suit his game well and I thought his price was a fair one given all the positives.

My final selection is CAMERON CHAMP 90/1 EW. Champ was another who had a great week at Harding Park 2 weeks ago which resulted in a top 10 finish. He took the week off last week which should freshen him up for a big run during the Playoffs. Champs distance will be a huge bonus this week as we have seen previously TPC Boston is a course well suited to players who hit the ball far. Another young player who isn’t scared of winning at any level and can only be inspired by the heroics of Morikawa at the PGA.
