Which Football Stadiums will be Open to Fans After Tiers Announced

Southend predictions

The government have today announced which parts of the country are in which Coronavirus tier and this means fans in some parts of the country can now return to stadiums in small numbers.

Fans of teams in Tier 3 will still not be allowed to return but Tier 2 stadiums are allowed to open with up to 2000 fans and Tier 1 stadiums can open with up to 4,000 fans but there are only three parts of the country into Tier 1 and they are Isle of Wight. Cornwall and Isles of Scilly.

That means there will be no 4,000 capacity at the moment but with the Government set to review the Tiers two weeks from the start date of the 2nd December, there is hope that there will be more fans inside football stadiums by the Christmas period.
