Swansea vs Birmingham Prediction and Betting Tips (05/08/23)

Swansea betting tips

Swansea vs Birmingham predictions and betting tips for the Championship fixture on Saturday 5th August 2023 at Swansea.com Stadium, kicking-off at 3pm.

The first Saturday of the new Championship season has arrived but Birmingham fans will be hoping they can avoid relegation in what looks set to be a difficult season for The Blues. So far, Swansea have managed to keep hold of star striker Joel Piroe with the likes of Leicester, Southampton and Leeds all linked to the striker. If the Swans can keep hold of him they will have a chance of a decent finish this season.

Birmingham have lost a few important players through the summer including Jobe Bellingham and they warmed up for the season with four friendlies, winning three before losing 3-2 to Peterborough last weekend.

Swansea will be looking to get three points on the board in this game and home advantage means we are predicting a win for them here. The Swans are 4/5 to win the match and that looks like a decent shout to add to your accumulator bets for this Saturday.

If Joel Piroe is still a Swansea player by the weekend then he is our betting tip for a first goalscorer against Birmingham. It is easy to see why the Dutchman is in demand and it is hard to see him still being in South Wales at the end of the transfer window.
