West Brom vs Swansea Betting Odds

Slaven Bilic’s West Brom are on a terrific run of form and it looks set to be a straight shoot-out between the Baggies and Leeds for top spot in the Championship. They have been priced up at an odds-on once again for this fixture and can be backed at around 8/13 to collect three points on Sunday lunchtime. Swansea have been better on the road this season than at the Liberty Stadium and the Welsh side can be backed at around 4/1. Steve Cooper’s men have already beaten Leeds on their travels this season and will be hoping to pull off a similar scalp this weekend. The draw is available at 16/5. The bookies are expecting plenty of goals in this game and have priced up Over 2.5 Goals at 8/13. It’s the same price for BTTS, however it’s 10/11 if you combine the pair with William Hill.

West Brom vs Swansea Predictions

WBA continued their remarkable run of keeping clean sheets on their travels on Monday night as they returned from Deepdale with a last-gasp 1-0 victory. There hadn’t been much between the two sides until Charlie Austin’s 89th minute penalty won the game for the Baggies and allowed them to return to the summit. They’ve been defeated on just two occasions this season and they arrive here with plenty of momentum. They have been watertight at the back on their travels, but the same can’t be said for their home fixtures. Despite possessing a 5-4-0 record at the Hawthorns this season, they are still yet to keep a clean sheet and have conceded twice on five occasions. Swansea will fancy their chances of hitting the scoreboard, but they are unlikely to return to South Wales with a clean sheet. In total, Bilic’s men have scored 23 home goals this season, which is the second highest tally in the Championship. Only Preston have been mire prolific on their own patch although the Lilywhites weren’t able to find a way past WBA on Monday. Goals are expected and the bookies have cut their prices accordingly. However, we can still get 10/11 by backing BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals and that looks the best way to approach this contest. The Swans possess a 4-5-0 record on the road and have become extremely tough to beat under Steve Cooper. It’s hard to write them off here, although it’s been over a month since they tasted victory on their travels and they required a late Ben Wilmot strike to preserve that unbeaten record at Hillsbrough last month. With WBA unbeaten in 16 home matches and Swansea avoiding defeat in each of their last 11 away games, there is unlikely to be much between the pair. The visitors have been trailing for less than two minutes on average this season and they are yet to be losing at the break in any of their away fixtures so far. It may be advised to back the sides to be level at HT here.
