We’ve had a look at each game on Thursday evening involving Rangers, West Ham, Leicester City, Tottenham, and Celtic, and have pulled together an Acca bet we’ll be going for.

Brondby v Rangers – 17:45

Rangers crucial 2-0 win over Brondby at Ibrox a fortnight ago has given them fresh optimism about qualifying from the group stages. First half goals from Leon Balogun and Kemar Roofe meant Steven Gerrard’s men moved to within a point of second-placed Sparta Prague, whom they face next in Glasgow.

A win for Rangers could see them move second, with Sparta facing a tough trip to Group A leaders, Lyon. We’re backing the Ger’s to win a tight match in Denmark and set up a huge game against Prague at Ibrox in three weeks’ time.

Score Prediction: Brondby 0-1 Rangers (15/2 with William Hill)

Betting Tip: Rangers win (10/11 with William Hill)

Genk v West Ham – 17:45

West Ham made it three wins from three in Group H when they comfortably beat Genk 3-0 at the Olympic Stadium two weeks ago. They are yet to concede in the competition this season and will qualify as group winners if they can succeed at the Luminus Arena on Thursday.

With the Hammers also doing well in the Premier League, recently beating Aston Villa 4-1, David Moyes might be tempted to rest some of his usual starting eleven, given West Ham have a six-point cushion at the top of the group. For that reason, we see this game ending in a draw, but we do expect both teams to score.

Score Prediction: Genk 1-1 West Ham (6/1 with William Hill)

Betting Tip: Both teams to score (8/13 with William Hill)

Ferencvaros v Celtic – 20:00

Celtic beat Ferencvaros in a must win game at Celtic Park two weeks ago to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the next round. A Kyogo Furuhashi strike was followed by an own goal to give Ange Postecoglou a first European win to lift them off the bottom of Group G. However, they remain four points shy of Real Betis and Bayer Leverkusen who also meet on Thursday night. A win for Celtic will give them a chance of catching either of the top two, but it won’t be easy in front of a hostile crowd in Hungary.

We see disappointment for the Scottish side in what could be a bad-tempered affair given the gravity of the game and the bookings dished out in the first game.

Score Prediction: Ferencvaros 2-0 Celtic (16/1 with William Hill)

Betting Tip: Over 55 booking points (11/8 with William Hill)

Leicester City v Spartak Moscow – 20:00

Leicester City produced an incredible comeback from 2-0 down to win 4-3 at the Otkrytiye Arena in Moscow a fortnight ago against Thursday’s opponents. Four goals from Patson Daka, including a nine-minute hattrick, kept the Foxes Europa League ambitions intact, as they moved level on points with Napoli and to within two-points of Group C leaders, Legia Warsaw.

Brendan Rodgers will know a win in front of the home crowd will give his side a huge boost ahead of facing Legia at the King Power Stadium in three weeks’ time. We’re backing a Foxes win and for Patson Daka to continue where he left off last time against Spartak.

Score Prediction: Leicester City 2-0 Spartak Moscow (6/1 with William Hill)

Betting Tip: Patson Daka anytime goalscorer (8/11 with William Hill)

Tottenham v Vitesse – 20:00

New Spurs manager, Antonio Conte, takes charge of his first game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where he needs to secure a win over Vitesse to put Spurs back in control of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Europa League.

The man he replaces, Nuno Espírito Santo, gambled by making eleven changes when they visited Vitesse two weeks ago, only to lose 1-0 and slip to third in Group G of the Europa Conference. That, combined with their 3-0 defeat by Manchester United at the weekend, and some poor form in the Premier League, saw Santo dismissed and Conte brought in.

The Italian needs to find harmony amongst the squad once again, and this game could be the ideal platform for them.

Score Prediction: Tottenham 3-0 Vitesse (13/2 with William Hill)

Betting Tip: Harry Kane to score 2 or more goals (18/5 with William Hill)
