Swansea City vs Manchester City

There is no doubt Pep Guardiola will make changes to his Man City starting 11 for tonight’s game so the likes of Riyad Mahrez and Gabriel Jesus are likely to start in South Wales. City have been in sensational form and beat Liverpool 4-1 at the weekend. At the moment, it looks impossible to stop them.

For Swansea,  they’ll have an eye on promotion back to the Premier League and currently sit in third place in the Championship table, two points behind leaders Norwich. They’re on a great run themselves, drawing two and winning eight of their last 10 matches in all competitions, including wins against Stevenage and Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup so far.

This will be a bridge too far for the Swans though, so I’m expecting a comfortable City victory with Mahrez an anytime goalscorer tip.

Manchester City to win.

Sheffield United vs Bristol City

Premier League strugglers Sheffield United face the classic FA Cup banana skin tonight. They welcome Bristol City to Bramall Lane, who haven’t won in their last three games now, losing all three. They’re now six points off the play-off places.

Sheffield United might as well focus on the FA Cup this season now as they’re almost certain to be relegated from the Premier League, and this is a very winnable home tie. Their results have showed some improvement of late and they have beaten West Brom, Manchester United and Newcastle in the league, and Bristol Rovers and Plymouth in the FA Cup.

Both of those games went over 2.5 goals and this one might too, with extra time needed!

Draw.

Leicester vs Brighton

This all Premier League clash sees high flying Leicester City play Brighton, who are down in 15th place in the league table but have picked up some good results of late including important wins against both Tottenham and Liverpool. They are now unbeaten in six matches and if Brendan Rodgers makes changes to his Leicester team, this could be a good opportunity for the Seagulls to progress.

Leicester lost 3-1 in their last home match against Leeds United and they have looked vunerable at home at times this season. Brighton have been good of late so this might be closer than people are predicting.

Draw.

Everton vs Tottenham

The final FA Cup fifth-round tie of the night is Everton vs Tottenham and this is a match both sides will fancy winning. Everton picked up a point with the last kick of the game against Manchester United on Saturday while Spurs got a much needed three points against West Brom. Harry Kane was back for that match but he may not start tonight having just come back from injury. If that were to be the case, Everton are fancied to win this one.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is back amongst the goals which is a big boost, and James Rodriguez could be OK after a fitness test. This could be a cagey game with both sides sitting back, but Everton can repeat the feat of their Premier League win at Spurs on the opening day of the season and win this game.

Everton to win.
