Premier League Predictions: Burnley vs Crystal Palace & Wolves vs Southampton

We’ve still got two remaining Premier League fixtures taking place tonight starting with Burnley vs Crystal Palace at 5.30pm and then Wolves vs Southampton at 8pm.

It has already been a great week in the top flight with Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea all putting their title credentials into play. Liverpool won 2-0 against Leicester at Anfield last night and Tottenham picked up a fantastic win over Manchester City, who are really struggling for form without Sergio Aguero in the team.

Chelsea ran out easy winners against Newcastle on Saturday lunchtime and Frank Lampard’s side are putting together a good run of results to take them into the top 4. Everton got back to winning ways against Fulham yesterday and Brighton picked up a very good win away to Aston Villa on Saturday.

There was more penalty controversy at Old Trafford in the match against West Brom where Bruno Fernandes eventually scored the winning goal and Leeds held 10-man Arsenal to a 0-0 draw at Elland Road on Sunday.

Burnley vs Crystal Palace

Both Teams to Score – No – 3/4 with Paddy Power.

This is the sort of game that has 0-0 written all over it. Crystal Palace have been reasonably impressive going forwards this season, at least by their standards. They possess a fair amount of threat on the counter but Burnley’s deep defensive line should counteract some of that.

The Clarets have been goal-shy and Palace have a decent defensive record. Even if the game doesn’t end in a stalemate, everything points towards one team scoring at most.

 

Wolves vs Southampton

Wolves are the only Premier League side to have scored fewer than 10 and conceded fewer than 10 so far this season. Their games have seen very few goals irrespective of opponent.

Southamton have been far more entertaining in the goals department but that doesn’t mean they’ve not kept their fair share of clean sheets. Despite conceding six in their last five, the Saints have managed to keep three clean sheets in that period.
