Tottenham have won each of their last three league games, scoring two or more in each.

Spurs have lost just four of their 14 league games since Mourinho took charge, their heaviest defeat being the 2-0 home loss to Chelsea.

Chelsea have failed to win any of their last four league games, drawing twice and losing twice.

The Blues’ lead over the chasing pack has been cut to just a single point – defeat to Tottenham could see them drop as low as seventh.

 

Match Result Prediction – Chelsea to Win

Chelsea have struggled for wins since the turn of the year. Lampard has picked up just one league win from six games since the 1^st of January.

The Blues arguably had the better of the first half against Manchester United (again) but were unable to make their chances count. Controversies aside, Chelsea were far from clinical and allowed their opponents back into the match. The likely return of Abraham up front will be a big plus for Lampard’s side.

Tottenham may be in comparatively good form, but the injury sustained by Heung-Min Son could cause issues. Spurs are already without Harry Kane and will likely field Lucas Moura up front. The Brazilian has failed to score in each of his last nine league games.

Chelsea’s lack of midweek fixture may further help their case as an increasingly thinly spread Tottenham suffered defeat to RB Leipzig on Wednesday.
