FC Copenhagen vs Istanbul Basakeshir Prediction

The Danish runners up finished second in their Europa League group behind Malmo. They scored a single goal in five of their six group games and conceded a single goal on four occasions. They overcame Celtic in the first knockout round, winning 4-2 on aggregate. Copenhagen have scored more than one goal in a European game just once this season and have yet to concede more than once in a single game.
Istanbul Basakeshir were crowned Turkish champions recently and take a 1-0 lead into the second leg. They won their Europa League group, finishing one point ahead of Roma despite losing 4-0 and 3-0 against the Italians. Basakeshir won 5-4 on aggregate against Sporting Braga after taking the second leg to extra time.
FC Copenhagen’s European games have been low-scoring thus far with none of them featuring over 2.5 goals. With qualification on the line, that is likely to continue.
Shakthar Donetsk vs Wolfsburg Prediction
Shakhtar to Win – 5/4 at bet365.
The Ukrainian champions take a 2-1 lead to Wolfsburg with the winner set to play either Eintracht Frankfurt or FC Basel. Shakhtar dropped into the Europa League after finishing third in their Champions League group featuring Manchester City and Atalanta. They then went on to knock out Benfica 5-4 on aggregate.
Wolfsburg finished seventh in the Bundesliga, which is enough to secure a Europa League qualifying round spot for next season. In this season’s competition, they finished second in their group behind Belgian side Gent. They then went on to beat Malmo home and away to set up a tie with Shakhtar.
Wolfsburg are up against it but will cling on to their away goal. Having kept just two clean sheets in Europe this season, that away goal is likely to be canceled out which should be enough for Shakhtar to advance.
Inter Milan vs Getafe Predictions
Inter Milan to Win – 7/10 at bet365.

Inter Milan just missed out on the Serie A title with Juventus edging them out by a single point. The Italian giants dropped into the Europa League after finishing third in a tough group behind Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund. The Nerazzurri eased passed Ludogorets with a 4-1 victory in the last knockout round.
Getafe finished eighth in La Liga and have won just one of their last 12 league games. In Europe they finished second in their group behind Basel before knocking out Dutch giants Ajax 3-2 on aggregate.
This will be a one-off knockout game played in Gelsenkirchen with the winner progressing to the quarter-finals. Given Getafe’s complete lack of form during the restart, the stronger team on paper should come out on top here.
Manchester United vs LASK Predictions

Manchester United finished third in the Premier League after beating Leicester 2-0 on the final day. The Red Devils topped their Europa League group, winning to nil on four occasions and keeping five clean sheets in the process. Solskjaer’s side won their knockout game against Club Brugge 6-1 on aggregate thanks to a 5-0 away win. They repeated the trick with another 5-0 win against LASK in their first leg meeting.
LASK also topped their Europa League group, finishing ahead of Sporting Lisbon and PSV. The Austrian side knocked out AZ Alkmaar in the first knock out round 3-1 on aggregate after winning the second leg 2-0 at home. Their 5-0 loss to Manchester United will mark the end of their progression in this year’s competition.
Manchester United have conceded in just two European games this season and should win comfortably as they progress to the quarters.
