Germany – Bayer Leverkusen v Bayern Munich – 14:30

The top two in Germany, going into the weekend, meet at the BayArena in Leverkusen in what is a keenly anticipated contest in the Bundesliga.

Defending champions, Bayern Munich, sit top on goal difference, but had boasted an unbeaten start to the season after six games, before losing 2-1 at home to Eintracht Frankfurt ahead of the international break.

Leverkusen’s 4-0 win at Arminia Bielefeld on the same day saw them draw level on points with Bayern, to set up this tasty encounter.

Both sides are finding goals easy to come by with Patrik Schick, Florian Wirtz, and Moussa Diaby being amongst Leverkusen’s 20 goals so far, whilst Robert Lewandowski is the Bundesliga joint top goal scorer this season with seven.

Score Prediction: Bayer Leverkusen 1-2 Bayern Munich (8/1 with William Hill)

Betting Tip: Bayern Munich to win and both teams to score (7/5 with William Hill)

Spain – Celta Vigo v Sevilla – 15:15

With Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid not in action this weekend due to several of their players still away representing their South American nations, Sevilla have the chance to go level on points with the top two.

Julen Lopetegui’s men currently sit fourth in La Liga and travel to the Estadio de Balaídos to face Celta Vigo. After a good start to the season, Sevilla fell to their first defeat of the domestic campaign just before the international break, when they were surprisingly beaten 1-0 at Granada. They have a 100% home record to date, but on the road, they have picked up just one win from four attempts, drawing two of them and only scoring two goals.

Celta Vigo are currently three places above the relegation zone after just two wins from their opening eight games, but one of those successes came in their last home game at the end of September.

This is likely to be a close affair, but Sevilla should have just enough to secure a precious win.

Score Prediction: Celta Vigo 0-1 Sevilla (13/2 with William Hill)

Betting Tip: Under 1.5 goals (2/1 with William Hill)

Italy – Napoli v Torino – 17:00

Napoli go in search of their eighth win from eight games in Serie A after a blistering 100% start to the season from Luciano Spalletti’s side. They have scored 18 goals in the process, conceding just three, and can boast wins over Juventus (2-1), Sampdoria (0-4) and Fiorentina (1-2).

It is only the second time in the club’s history that Napoli have won their opening seven games of the season and they are the only club across Europe’s top-four divisions to possess a perfect record.

Torino sit mid-table having picked up just two wins from their opening seven games and suffered a 1-0 defeat to Juventus in the Turin derby when they were last in action.

Napoli will be strong favourites to continue their impressive start and in Victor Osimhen, they possess and player who has scored seven goals in Napoli’s last six competitive matches. He also found the net when these sides last met in April, a game Napoli won 2-0.

Score Prediction: Napoli 2-0 Torino (6/1 with William Hill)

Betting Tip: Victor Osimhen anytime scorer (Evs with William Hill)

Italy – Juventus v AS Roma – 19:45

Juventus failed to record a single win in their opening four Serie A games but have since won three in a row to move themselves up to seventh place. Two 3-2 wins over Spezia and Sampdoria, were followed by a late 1-0 win at Torino when they were last in action. However, it is clear that Massimiliano Allegri’s men are still struggling post the Cristiano Ronaldo era.

Juve welcome AS Roma to the Allianz Stadium on Sunday night with the visitors sitting fourth after five wins from their opening seven games. But, two 3-2 defeats in their last four games, both coming away from home, has stalled Roma’s progress.

The midfield duo of Jordan Veretout and Lorenzo Pellegrini have pitched in with four goals each for Roma, who also have England forward Tammy Abraham amongst their ranks this season; Abraham has two goals to his name.

This will be a close game and could go either way, but we’re expecting goals and see an away win.

Score Prediction: Juventus 1-2 Roma (14/1 with William Hill)

Betting Tip: Roma to win (3/1 with William Hill)
