Brentford vs Leicester (12.45pm)
Both high flying in their respective divisons, this will be an interesting match-up at Griffin Park. Brentford sit fifth in the Championship table just two points off third place Fulham and go into this game on the back of three wins and a draw in their last four matches, conceding just once. Leicester are also flying high in the Premier League but are set to be without Jamie Vardy for this game. Rodgers may also make some changes as Leicester continue to push for a Champions League place, and that could allow Brentford to capitalise and at least force a replay. Thatsagoal Prediction: Brentford 1-1 Leicester (13/2 Bet Victor) [global_advert id=”37950″]Burnley vs Norwich (3.00pm)
Coventry vs Birmingham (3.00pm)
This match is being played at Birmingham’s ground, but they are the away team. Coventry are sharing St. Andrew’s this season and as they’re drawn as the home side, they will be classed as that here. The Sky Blues go into this game in good form and are unbeaten in seven matches, winning five of them. That has left the fourth in the League One table as they look to get back into the Championship. Birmingham will be going the other way if they’re not careful, they are down in 18th place but have picked up two wins and two draws in their last four. They beat Blackburn in the last round and both teams to score looks a banker here. Thatsagoal Prediction: Coventry 1-1 Birmingham (23/4 Sportingbet)Millwall vs Sheffield United (3.00pm)
Championship plays Premier League once again in this match, and it’s two more sides who are out-playing their expectations this season. Millwall have been on a great run since Gary Rowett took over. They are up to eighth in the Championship table and will have one eye on a play-off spot. They’re six unbeaten and might fancy their chances against Premier League opposition after beating Everton last season. Sheff Utd are flying in the Premier League and are expected to make a few changes for this game, that will open the door for Millwall and I’m banking on the Londoners earning a replay. Thatsagoal Prediction: Millwall 2-2 Sheffield United (17/1 Bet Victor)Newcastle vs Oxford (3.00pm)
Newcastle produced a remarkable and unlikely comeback at Everton in midweek, but that shouldn’t gloss over a poor performance. However, they have now gone five matches unbeaten and should beat Oxford in this fourth-round tie. The visitors are rocking in their promotion quest and really need to focus on their league form, but will thrive on this day out to the North East. They put four past Hartlepool in Round 3 but I can’t see anything but a Newcastle victory in this one. Thatsagoal Prediction: Newcastle 2-0 Oxford (13/2 bet365) [global_advert id=”37941″]Portsmouth vs Barnsley (3.00pm)
Reading vs Cardiff (3.00pm)
This all Championship match had a draw written all over it. The home side have drawn three of their last five matches now, and Cardiff have drawn three of their previous four. The Bluebirds were involved in a thrilling 4-3 win in the 3rd round replay against Carlisle and now have the chance to make it into round 5. Reading also needed a replay against Blackpool before eventually winning through, and I’m predicting another replay will be needed to separate these two sides. Thatsagoal Prediction: Reading 1-1 Cardiff (6/1 Bet Victor)Southampton vs Tottenham (3.00pm)
Southampton will fancy their chances of winning this tie, and rightly so. They are in great form and got back to winning ways against Crystal Palace in midweek. Hopefully, they don’t rest any players for this game because they should try and go for the win against a Spurs side without Harry Kane. Mourinho’s men have won two of their last three now but needed a replay against Middlesbrough in the last round. I’m betting on the Saints to march onto the 5th round with a narrow victory here. Thatsagoal Prediction: Southampton 1-0 Tottenham (10/1 Unibet) [global_advert id=”37962″]West Ham vs West Brom (3.00pm)
