The Gunners took a lead into half time on Thursday night before falling to a 2-1 loss against Eintracht Frankfurt. They have also been leading at the break against Southampton in their last league game and Crystal Palace three weeks previous. Arsenal may not be able to find a win but they’ve been up at the break in two of their last four league games.

Emery’s departure brings a clean slate for The Gunners. This was a squad looking down on their knees but Ljungberg’s appointment should revitalise many and with it bring a likely victory. Don’t expect all the issues to be sorted immediately though. Arsenal still look fragile and are unlikely to come away unscathed.

Norwich vs Arsenal Betting Odds

Arsenal are priced at 5/6 to beat Norwich. A draw is priced at 3/1 whilst a home win is available at 29/30.

P-E Aubameyang is the bookies’ favourite to score first at 14/5 followed by Alexander Lacazette at 3/1.

In the correct score market, a 1-1 draw is priced at 13/2, Arsenal to win 2-1 is at 15/2 and a 2-2 draw at 9/1.

Norwich vs Arsenal Preview

The Canaries ended their winless run with a 2-0 away victory over Everton last week. The win lifted Norwich off the foot of the table to 18th, three points behind 17th placed West Ham. Only Southampton have conceded more goals than Norwich so far this season.

Arsenal are in crisis. They are now seven without a win in all competitions, an unwanted record that had stood for the best part of 30 years. Unai Emery has been relieved of his duties and Freddie Ljungberg is at the helm for his first match in charge this weekend.

Norwich vs Arsenal Score Prediction

There are still glaring issues in this Arsenal team and they will take time to get accustomed to a new approach. Even so, they should come away with a win to kick Ljungberg’s stint as manager. Norwich’s win last weekend will have given them confidence but they’re unlikely to be able stop Arsenal.
