Sheffield United vs West Ham Betting Tips and Predictions – Premier League 10/01/20 8pm

Sheff United predictions

Sheffield United vs West Ham predictions and betting tips for the Premier League fixture on Friday 10th January 2020 at Bramall Lane. This grudge match kicks-off at 8pm and forms the Sky Sports Friday Night Football. See our predictions and betting tips for the fixture below.

The Blades have had a brilliant first season back in the Premier League to this point.

They find themselves in eighth place, just two points off a Europa League spot.

West Ham have a new manager in charge and have won both games under David Moyes so far.

Sheffield United vs West Ham Prediction

West Ham are still in their new manager bounce zone and have picked up a Premier League win against Bournemouth and FA Cup victory at Gillingham since David Moyes took the reigns against at the London Stadium.

Whilst I’m not expecting this to last very long, they could get another positive result against high flying Sheffield United in this game. The Blades continue to defy the odds and are taking advantage of what looks to be a poor quality Premier League season (barring Liverpool) and find themselves in eighth place in the Premier League table.

A win for Chris Wilder’s side here will take them into fifth place before the rest of the weekend matches, just four points behind fourth placed Chelsea.

However, for the first Sheff Utd vs West Ham prediction, I’m betting on the sides to share the points in this game. Sheff Utd were held to a 1-1 draw in their last home game against Watford before losing at both Liverpool and Manchester City.

They’ve already beaten Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Burnley and Aston Villa at Bramall Lane this season, but might have to settle for a point here.

Sheffield United vs West Ham Score Prediction

This fixture has some bad blood in it from the season when Sheffield United were relegated on the last day of the season. West Ham survived but were ultimately punished for having Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano in their side when in reality, they shouldn’t have.

There is still a bitter taste in the mouths of Blades fans so they will be right up for this match and it is a very difficult place to go.

However, with a good little run since Moyes took over, the Hammers will be keen to keep that going and a draw would not be a bad result here, that’s why my second Sheffield United vs Wes Ham prediction comes from the correct score market and I’m going for a 1-1 draw.

Anytime Goalscorer Betting Tip

[inline_advert ad=”2″]

There were a few players that stood out in the anytime goalscorer odds for this game including John Lundstram at 7/2 and Chris Basham at 22/1. Sheffield United tend to share their goals around with different players tasked with making the attacking runs and John Fleck has got four goals this season, so he’s a tempting proposition at odds of 17/2.

However, for my anytime goalscorer tip I’m going to side with a West Ham player and their big-money signing Sebastien Haller. He’s got six Premier League goals so far this season and scored in the 4-0 win against Bournemouth. Moyes will form his starting 11 around Haller and ensure he gets service, so the big Frenchman looks a decent bet in this one.
