The Independent’s Prediction

It would not be a total surprise to see Brentford pull off another upset here – certainly not against a club with Spurs’ history of failing to get over the line. However, Tottenham’s emphatic 3-0 Premier League win against Leeds at the weekend might have come at just the right time.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Brentford – 7/1 with BetVictor.

Goal’s Prediction

Both teams to score is priced at which seems like a strong option given the visitors’ attacking prowess.

The fact that Brentford did not play at the weekend could also be a factor to consider meaning the side from the west of the capital should be fresh for this semi-final clash.

Prediction: Both teams to score – 19/20 with SBK.

Evening Standard’s Prediction

Spurs are a tougher nut to crack of late but Brentford are in a fine run of form and will pose the hosts plenty of problems. Jose Mourinho’s cup nous should see them through, though.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Brentford – 7/1 with BetVictor.

Thatsagoal’s Prediction

Spurs will be keep to avoid any upset here and they will have to be at their best against a very good Brentford side who look set to challenge for promotion again this season. The Bees have won their last four matches and are unbeaten in 16 games. Away from home, they have won four of their last five matches, drawing the other.

Jose Mourinho cannot afford to rest players for this one and he doesn’t take any chances in this competition. Expect the likes of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg all to start and a strong line-up will just give Tottenham the edge here.

Prediction: Tottenham to win and both teams to score – 9/4 with 888Sport.
