Aldershot v Wrexham

Struggling Aldershot welcome Wrexham to the Recreation Ground on Tuesday night, with the hosts looking for a first win in five games following four straight defeats. That has left Aldershot sitting second from bottom of the National League table, whilst their visitors sit thirteenth after last week’s draw with Torquay.

The Shots have the worst home record in the division having lost all six games in front of their own crowd. They have also only managed to score four goals and conceded 12 times.

Wrexham have lost just once in their last four games but have only won once on the road this season, which was a 3-0 success at Barnet. The Welsh side do usually score, and half of their league games have seen over 2.5 goals this season.

We think there will be goals in this one, with Wrexham adding to Aldershot’s woes by inflicting another defeat on them.

Score Prediction: Aldershot 1-2 Wrexham (8/1 with William Hill)

Betting Tip: Over 2.5 goals (11/10 with William Hill)

Brackley Town v Spennymoor Town

There is a big game in National League North on Tuesday night as second placed Brackley Town aim to go top of the table with victory against their visitors, Spennymoor.

Brackley have lost just once this season in the league and saw their three-game winning streak come to an end at the weekend after a 0-0 draw at Farsley. However, that was their fourth clean sheet in a row and they have the tightest defence in the division having conceded just five goals.

Spennymoor sit in seventh place but have lost their last three games and have failed to score in any of those defeats. Their latest loss came at home against Alfreton, but they have won three of their league games on the road.

Brackley’s mean defence can ensure they win again but it could be a close encounter.

Score Prediction: Brackley Town 1-0 Spennymoor (15/2 with William Hill)

Betting Tip: Brackley Town to win (21/20 with William Hill)

Hungerford v Hemel Hempstead

Promotion chasing Hungerford welcome struggling Hemel Hempstead on Tuesday night with both teams needing maximum points for very different reasons.

Hungerford are enjoying a good spell of form and are unbeaten in their last five games, which has seen them move up to fifth place in National League South. Their visitors, Hemel Hempstead, are unbeaten in their last three games which has seen them move out of the relegation zone. However, they do have the worst defensive record in the division but have won their last two away games.

Despite Hungerford’s recent good form, they have only scored eight goals in five home games, and conceded just seven. That said, three of their last four games have yielded over 2.5 goals, whilst 4 of Hungerford’s last five games have seen three goals or more. We’re expecting a high scoring encounter in this one.

Score Prediction: Hungerford 3-1 Hemel Hempstead (12/1 with William Hill)

Betting Tip: Hungerford to win (23/20 with William Hill)
