West Ham vs Wolves Preview, Predictions & Betting Tips
At the time of writing, West Ham are level on points with Watford and Bournemouth, just three goals above the relegation zone. Wolves are currently sixth, two points behind 5th and a potential Champions League spot.
West Ham United Form
West Ham had won just one of their last nine Premier League games heading into the break. They lost six games in that period but had to face six of the current top nine.
They have kept just three clean sheets since September and have the fourth-worst defensive record in the league. The Hammers have been better going forwards, ranking 11th in the league with 35 goals in 29 games.
They have only won twice against any side placed higher than 14th, with a record of 2W-2D-16L.
West Ham Team News
West Ham have a clean bill of health heading into their tie with Wolves.
Wolves Form
Wolves were in excellent from heading into the enforced break. They lost just once in their last eight league fixtures, picking up points against Manchester United, Leicester and Tottenham.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have drawn a league-high 13 games so far this season but have faired well against the bottom five. Six win and a loss represents a reasonable return, with a 2-1 defeat to Watford the only blotch on their copybook.
The last time these two met in the league, Wolves ran out 2-0 winners with goals from Leander Dendoncker and Patrick Cutrone.
Wolves Team News
Wolves also have a fully fit squad at their disposal for their trip to East London.
West Ham vs Wolves Head to Head
West Ham have edged the overall head-to-head with 29 wins, 14 draws and 21 defeats. Recently, Wolves have had the better of the Hammers, winning each of the last three meetings by an aggregate score of 6-0.

West Ham vs Wolves Prediction
West Ham’s defence is unlikely to be able to handle Wolves’ firepower. Raul Jimenez, Diogo Jota, Adama Traoré and even Matt Doherty will cause plenty of problems and should get the better of West Ham.
David Moyes’ poor record against the top sides doesn’t bode well for their prospects and the lack of home support will only make things harder.
West Ham vs Wolves Stats
- Wolves are unbeaten in their last five league games.
- West Ham have just one win from their last eight.
- Raul Jimenez is eight in the Premier League scoring charts.
West Ham vs Wolves Betting Tips
Wolves should win fairly comfortably to strengthen their position in the top six.
