Wales betting tips

There are more World Cup 2022 qualifying matches taking place tonight including Wales hosting the Czech Republic and both Portugal and the Netherlands facing two of the minnows in European qualifying.

We have picked out an anytime goalscorer tip from those two matches and a team to win prediction from Wales vs Czech Republic. If you combine all three selections into an accumulator then the rewards would be a 10/1 bet at Paddy Power.

Luxembourg vs Portugal

Diogo Jota Anytime Scorer – 10/11 with Paddy Power.

Jota was rested in Portugal’s first qualifier against Azerbaijan but started and scored a brace last time out against Serbia. The Liverpool forward had been in great form for his club pre-injury and should get minutes as Portugal round off their international break.

Luxembourg pulled off a shock 1-0 win over the Republic of Ireland but are very much the underdogs heading into this one. Portugal should win comfortably despite a couple of sub-par performances last week and Jota has a great shot to be involved in the goals.

Wales vs Czech Republic

Czech Republic to Win – 6/4 with Paddy Power.

It’s been a decent start for the Czech Republic. A 6-2 win over Estonia showcased their attacking intent before following it up with an arguably even more impressive point against Belgium.

Wales took the lead against Belgium before falling to a 3-1 loss. They are yet to play their second game but have had some inner conflict with three players sent home for a breach of conduct. The Czech Republic are priced well to take all three points and continue their strong form.

Gibraltar vs Netherlands

Gini Wijnaldum Anytime Scorer – 5/4 with Paddy Power.

Wijnaldum isn’t a prolific scorer for Liverpool but that’s a very different story in the Netherlands national team. The Dutch mid has 21 goals in 72 caps, including 11 goals in his last 19 appearances.

Gibraltar are one of the weakest sides in Europe and ship goal for fun. The minnows lost 3-0 to Bulgaria last time out and are likely to concede more than three when they meet the Netherlands on Tuesday.
