Avoiding a fourth successive home defeat in Bundesliga action will be the priority for Hoffenheim ahead of this game and they are also winless since the beginning of February when beating Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 on home soil. Their future prospects appeared no better when they were beaten 3-0 by Hertha Berlin as action resumed following the lockdown but a useful point was claimed at the weekend when drawing 1-1 at bottom team Paderborn.
