Newcastle vs Bournemouth Predictions
Newcastle are having a fantastic season and find themselves chasing Champions League football once again. They are sitting in fourth place at the moment, just three points behind third-place Nottingham Forest and nine off league leaders Liverpool. They have won their last nine matches in all competitions, with their last defeat coming at the hands of Brentford in early December. I think they’ll have too much for Bournemouth here. Alexander Isak added to his impressive goal tally during the week with two goals against Wolves taking him to 15 league goals in 19 appearances. He also has five assists in the league this season, so his overall return is extremely impressive. Newcastle will have plenty of possession here, creating a lot of chances, and with Isak’s impressive form, I think he’s great odds to either score or assist again. We’re going with two players to be carded here – Antoine Semenyo of Bournemouth and Newcastle’s Joelinton. Semenyo has been carded five times in the league this season, making a massive 39 fouls 20 appearances, more than any of his teammates. He also has 27 fouls against him, so he’s definitely one to be involved in the aggressive battles. We’re also backing Joelinton to be booked. The enforcer of the Newcastle midfield, Joelinton has been carded eight times this season, seven times in the league and once in the Carabao Cup. He has made a massive 41 fouls in 20 league appearances, an average of over two per game, and I think he will make a couple again here. I think both these players are good odds for a booking in this one.Newcastle vs Bournemouth Bet Builder Tip
