Wolves vs Aston Villa Predictions

We’re backing Villa to win this one against a struggling Wolves side. Villa haven’t lost a league game in five, and I think their decent league form will continue here. Wolves haven’t won in their last five league games with four defeats and one draw in that time, and with only four wins in the league this season, I think it’s unlikely they’ll overcome a fairly strong Villa side here. Villa have won the last two meetings between the sides, while Wolves have only beaten their rivals once in five. Ollie Watkins is having a great season, and we’re backing him to either score or assist in this one. In his 23 league appearances, he has scored 10 goals and has five assists to his name. He also has two assists in the Champions League. Villa will create a lot of chances here against a Wolves side who are really struggling, and I think Watkins will be involved in most of their chances. He’s good odds to score or assist here. The two players we’re backing for a booking are Andre Trindade and Boubacar Kamara. Andre has made 18 appearances for Wolves so far this season, making 18 fouls, an average of one per game. He has been carded three times in the league, and I think there’s a good chance of him being carded again here. Kamara has been booked four times this season, twice in the league and twice in the Champions League. In the league, he has made 16 fouls in his 14 appearances, so an average of over one per game. He has also been booked in two of Villa’s last three matches. Both players are good odds to pick up a booking here.
