Real Betis vs Fiorentina Predictions

I think Real Betis will win this semi-final first leg at home. They have lost only four games in their last 20 in all competitions, with just one defeat in their last 10. They overcame Jagiellonia Bialystok of Poland in the quarter-final, with a 3-1 victory over two legs. They have lost only two of their last 10 home fixtures, and come into this one off the back of a 5-1 home victory over Valladolid in La Liga. Fiorentina narrowly defeated Panathinaikos over two legs in the quarter final, after a 3-2 defeat in the first leg and a 1-3 victory against 10 men in the second leg which saw them progress 5-4 on aggregate. I think Betis will have too much for them here. I’m backing Antony to score or assist here. He has made 12 La Liga appearances in the green and white of Betis this season, with three goals and two assists in that time. I think Betis will have a lot of chances, and Antony will be involved in a lot of their attacking play. He has a point to prove following his departure from Manchester United, and what better place to prove himself than a European competition. I think he’s good odds to either score or assist here. I’m also backing former Juventus and Everton striker Moise Kean to have one or more shots on target here. He has had an impressive season with 24 goals in his 36 appearances, across Serie A, the Conference League and the Coppa Italia, with 17 in the league, four in the Conference League and one in the Coppa Italia. He averages more than three shots per game, and I think there’s a good chance he will have at least one shot on target here. Luis Avila is the man we’re backing for a booking here. The forward has made 19 appearances in La Liga this season, picking up five yellow cards and one red card in that time. Most of his appearances have come from the bench this season, but if he does feature either from the start or from the bench, his booking stats back themselves up. This will be a difficult game, and I think it’ll be physical too. He’s good odds to pick up his seventh booking of the season here.
