Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea Predictions
Chelsea have it all to play for on the final day with a place in the top five up for grabs. With Newcastle facing Everton and Villa taking on Man United, all three have an equal chance of clinching that final top four spot. If City slip up away to Fulham, two of them could sneak in, with City dropping to sixth at the lowest. I think Chelsea will come out all guns blazing here with that in mind. The Blues have won eight of their last 10 in all competitions, with one defeat and one draw in that time. Forest have been poor of late, and their win against West Ham last time out was one of only three victories in their last 10 in all competitions. That said, they still have a lot to play for here and won’t go down easily – far from it. I think this will be a close one, but I can’t see Chelsea losing. I think a Chelsea win or a draw here is a safe bet. I’m backing two players to have one or more shots on target: Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Forest striker Chris Wood. Palmer has bagged 15 league goals in 36 appearances this season, and will be keen to get on the scoresheet here to take him closer to his tally of 22 last campaign. He has had 50 shots on target in that time, giving him an average of well above one per game. Chris Wood has had a good season, with 20 goals in 35 league outings. He has had 35 shots on target, giving him an average of exactly one per game. I think both teams will have chances here, and both players have a great chance of having at least one shot on target. Forest midfielder Nicolas Dominguez is the man I’ve backed for a card in this one. The Argentine has played 33 league matches for Forest this season, picking up nine bookings in the process. He has also been shown yellow once in the Carabao Cup, and once in the FA Cup. He has made 33 fouls in the league, giving him an average of exactly one foul per game. Coming up against the likes of Cole Palmer, who draws plenty fouls, and physical players such as Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandes, he will be in for a difficult match-up here. I think he’s great odds to pick up his 10th league booking of the season this Sunday.Bet £10 get £30 in Free Bets Bookies Offers
